    Great drawing Bonny.Yellows really need to be fresh and bright,they can look muddy if you aren’t careful and I think you have really caught the flowers vibrancy.Also in botanicals you must leave your highlights and shadows in your stalks and leaves so you get the feeling of distance with the lighter part of the subject nearest to you.

    thank you Bonny, FINALLY , a flower tutorial!!!! i love drawing flowers and i have trouble with shadow colors. Specially on white flowers, i hope that you will\ tackle that so i can learn. Thank u

    Much like animals flowers are not just a solid one. But unlike animals Contrast in nature are more present then in fur on it's own. Would love to see colored pencil botanicals on your channel as I have the background in watercolour botanical not yet as much as colored pencil; just layer like I would watercolour in glazes. Polychromos work awesome for that technique; Its hard to find decent botanical tutorials with coloured pencil.
