Will i be able to enable xmp if i upgrade the bios? Current bios is f.20 and its so basic xmp isnt even an option.

Nvm I tried this and still didn't let me unlock xmp mode or what not to run 3200 mhz on my ram for a tg01-1070m

I've only be able to get up to 3000Mhz to run or 2997.
@@TNW1337 lol yeah they did. Gave me $950 in credit and I just so happened to see on their website. A different computer with a 5600g 3060 same ram. All I had to add was $10 so basically got quite a nice upgrade compared to the 4600g and 1660 super I had in the blown up model 🤣 so paid $710 bucks for a computer with a new 5600g and a 3060. After purchase the model went up in price to $1300
@@TNW1337 But already have new ram so decided to buy a new motherboard ( b550m steel legend) 5800x, and a white Musetex case with 32 gb oloy ram kit. Didn't want to deal with the same issue. Just going to wait a bit till prices come down and throw a 1660 in this new model I pulled the 3060 from so I can sell it for $700 and get my money back completely for the PC . Woot woot

My bios update failed and bricked. I created a recovery u s b drive , but the computer won’t detect it. I can’t access boot options either with F keys

Have you thought about adding in a fan controller since the stock HP settings have the fans running very slowly?
Try Ctrl + F10 I doubt it will work but it might let u into the advanced bios menu to adjust more stuff especially the fan profile.
You could just get noctuas that will run at max???
@@TNW1337 Good idea. However in my opinion the Noctua does not provide the thermal performance required for my needs. I prefer Delta performance personally, but need to control the fan speed to keep it quiet at idle. I want absolutely the maximum amount of thermal performance possible.
Use msg afterburner for that

The HP Support Assistant software does the same. I did it like this and when I restarted my computer for the second time, I left my finger on the Escape key, then I enter the BIOS, how do I adjust the Resizable BAR function in the PCIe setting? Furthermore, the HP graphics card driver is so old that there is always a LOD error in 3DMARK. Furthermore, the Resizable BAR function cannot be activated on the NVidia RTX3060TI. Maybe HP will listen to you, we need a new BIOS driver and a new graphics card driver for the HP nVidia RTX 3xxx series. When the PCIe standard was introduced, AMD and HP wanted the Resizable BAR in the standard and now HP is the only company that cannot do the Resizable BAR.
I do not use hp drivers for gpu I use AMD or Nvidia drivers

Depends on what is listed when you buy it. They can come with both.

Yes, U need a PSU, Mobo and case. this can be done for 250-350.
Need to match your SSID, the highest version is shown. You can find out the SSID via windows.

Yes, so I bought the HP pavilion gaming desktop that came with a GTX 1050 graphics card and it was paired with an AMD Ryzen 5 2400 processor. I don't know which model that is BUT
I know the ram in it is lower than 8 I'm pretty sure.
Long story short the other week I found a GTX 1050 ti brand new still in the box unopened at my job ( I'm a garbage man and You wouldn't believe the stuff we find that ppl throw out) and normally I wouldn't upgrade my graphics card from my GTX 1050 to a GTX 1050 ti Windoforce OC. But considering the condition I pulled my old GTX out. (Which wasn't even a graphics card like your used to seeing it was a green chip board with a single tiny fan connected to it. Lmao
Anyways I installed my GTX 1050ti and it runs way better.
My question is Do you know if I can upgrade the RAM to 16 GB by simply just replacing it with the old one inside?
If not even 8 GB of RAM would be better.
I can't run warzone 2 on this with the ram I have. Everything else should at least run warzone 2 on low settings with no issues but they really slacked on the ram in this thing.

@@aidanloscalzo5464 The motherboard locks the ram voltage at 1.2V only. that's why the speed is slower as yours requires 1.35V. If you are using ryzen cpu, you may try to use Ryzen Master to overclock the memory speed or get a ram that would run at 1.2V. normally it's those green rams with no heatsink

look you mobo up 1st them it works the same for any TG01 or Tg02.
I believe to solve the RAM speed issue you will need to get the normal green ram with no fancy heatsink. Those ram are built to run the rated speed at 1.2V. The fancy rams with heatsink requires 1.35v to run the rated speed. This is the reason that the ram speed gets downclocked.
Before, I was using the provided samsung 8gb ddr4 3200mhz ram and PNY XLR8 8gb ddr4 3200mhz ram. My HP TG01 read the ram speed to be 16gb 2133mhz as it will only run the PNY ram at 1.2V only
After switching the PNY ram to a micron 8gb ddr4 3200mhz, im able to get 16gb 3200mhz speed. Just double check if the ram that you are buying only requires 1.2V to run. Normally these are the green ram without fancy heatsink

@@zacharytaylor4164 try to put the games on low does that help? And if you get a ssd past 90% they start to do wired stuff if they are not over Provision.

@@TNW1337 so like forza, I have it on medium but it won’t run unless I switch back to 60.hz Frame rate. I have the 25x display. When I’m loading forza tho I can’t even start it because it’s so laggy
Ok open taskmanager and load the game up what is hiting 100%. The game could have a locked fps rate. Have you google the problem? Or download and install hardware info, get it runing and open the game to see if any thing is hitting 100%. Lets figuer this out. Is this the only game you have problems with?

Why is it important to have an updated BIOS?
Usually only do a bios update when something is broken. Or some thing needs fixing. Otherwise it's not a good idea to do.
