I'm a paleontologist at the University of Toronto, someone sent me your video to get my opinion. The fossil at 10:15 appears to be ichthyosaur vertebrae, they were marine reptiles that lived alongside the dinosaurs (they have a classic hourglass shape when they're exposed in cross-section like that). Ichthyosaur fossils are quite rare in Canada - any chance you could tell me where you saw this (via email or something so you don't have to publicly out the location of your hunting spot)? This could be an important location for fossils, the preservation of the ichthyosaur is quite good.
@daniel Dick. I've been thinking about this a lot. Hopefully the author will come around and reveal the location. This could be a great discovery and hopefully an advancement in science and history in this region!
Great video. Sure brings back a lot of memories the first time I was in that same spot solo with the original owner of Riverjet Adventures Guy Scott in 1997. I killed my Stone ram on the same mountain where you guys got your ram. Then in 1998 I took a buddy with me there again and he killed a BC book stone ram in that area. Your video quality sure is superior to what I videoed back 23 years ago. LOL. Thanks for sharing.
