Crucifix was an American hardcore punk band from Berkeley, California, active from 1980 to 1984. They were among the most popular acts of the San Francisco hardcore scene of the early 1980s. They were unusual among American punk bands for their strong D-beat and anarcho-punk characteristics, and their 1983 LP Dehumanization is considered a classic of the hardcore subgenre.

Very few American punk bands had so good attitude; their obvious influence is mighty Discharge, and I can hear lots of Husker Du - who had excellent music, but nothing else. Unfortunately, quality of the music didn't reached sources and audience doesn't really feel them.
