A superb end title theme from a man who couldn't put a note wrong. Sorry for the slight blocking on the cuts between colours. It seem the quality was too high for the upload.
I love this theme. I had the pleasure of meeting and knowing Barry in his later years - my early years (1984) - and I LOVE THIS THEME more than everything else. God Bless You Barry. Your music will live on forever.
As a kid I thought the end music was slow and boring compared to the groovy 60s opening. The best thing about getting old is I love this version now too. In fact, I prefer it - drums and strings - perfect!
Thanks for sharing! Sounds fantastic. That really is as good as it gets. The orchestra is so ridiculously tight plus the score is the work of a genius.
Have always loved the closing credits for Joe90 above everything else Barry Gray composed and arranged. The drum fill at 0:59 makes me "desk drum" every time. The whole arrangement is sublime. Nice work on the remastering too.
Anyone smiling 😄 X probably dancing too... You know who you are born in the late 60s... I love this it's my childhood...and the nice thing is it's stayed with me. Stingray to Thunderbirds, etc and UFO.... Brilliant times and memory's! My kids also love it too. Job done..... Mr Anderson and Mr Barry 🙂👍.
I was born in 53 and really enjoyed every Anderson production up to Thunderbirds when i was 12. But by 68 I was 15 and losing interest in this stuff. The music was still as good as ever though, fantastic stuff.
Sunday afternoon children's TV in the 60s/70s. Wow, what memories. Joe 90 and The Adventures Of Black Beauty had the best themes ever. Just a few bars and my eyes start to water.
As a child of the sixties and having had the privilege of living in the technological world it ushered in i want this played at my funeral, it's kind of fitting somehow.
Wow late 60s old Joe 90 that orchestra is fantastic music, sad don't here more ,but seems like yesterday watched all this ,but yes end credits are best cheers 👍
mr gray was a genius great shows but the music put them into another level learned to play keyboards as i just wanted to make tunes like this , now i do :)
Yes. His real name was Ernest and Judith was his sister. The AP Films/Century 21 team gave us some of the most iconic TV shows of all time - from a warehouse in Slough, of all places!

80 seconds of perfection. Better than the opening titles. And I always think the drummer was on danger money!
Love this arrangement, The strings and horns at 0:45 ...... shivers!!

Barry always added the icing on the cake, wonderful themes and mood music. No one could have done it better.

Utterly majestic.

As I've said to others, 80 seconds of perfection.
Uplifting and joyous without being cloying or triumphal. Barry was a genius.

And listen to the choral backing way down in the mix. Only just audible, but it makes the difference. Barry Gray was a genius.
Uplifting, but makes this 50 year old very misty eyed.

Absolutely, and the build up of it with the strings and brass fills are pure joy to listen to.
If your day has been good, bad or indifferent this will put a big smile on you face , utterly brilliant 🎶🎶🎶🎶🎶🎶🎵🎵🎵🎵🎵🎵
The build up in this is insanely brilliant, and just mind blowingly fantastic counterpoints! Mr Gray was a pure genius.
I OWN A JOE 90 BRIEFCASE ! Perfect music.

Love this, late 60s big band at its finest.

Priceless.
Musical utopia..................and the best ever ending credits to a kids TV show. Good memories!

Wonderful memories!!
00:48 that little snare drum fill :)
Yes, I always get a little smile on my face when I hear that. A drummer really enjoying his job!
There is the mother of all fills on the Captain Scarlett end credits too at around 25 seconds
0:45 - 0:55 best 10 seconds of music in history!! :)
If only it was longer
mr gray was a genius great shows but the music put them into another level learned to play keyboards as i just wanted to make tunes like this , now i do :)
The best Jerry Anderson musical score.

Superb
The best version of this theme
One of the sculptor's names was Plugg Shutt!

I would like to think that Mozart would be thrilled if he wrote this masterpiece.....
WordGirl 90
Great tune...
Do ever notice that the Joe 90 briefcase is not to scale to what it carries or vice versa?
Who gives a fug!!
Fruuugg!!
barry gray = genius
Wouldnt it have great if actual footage of the band playing this live in a studio had actually survived, or was saved for transmission?
