    Thanks Jamie for your tutorial. With the mistakes you made it makes me feel human because I make several while creating and when I watch other videos they seem so perfect and it makes me feel as if I am a failure each time I mess up. Thanks again.

    This is brilliant! Glad it can be done because I need to make a tiny brick wall/cobblestone design for teeny Halloween packaging.

    I love this freaking video. I hate paying for plates that I only use every so often like birthday plates or holiday ones. . now I can make whatever I want and not be upset about my wallet and personalize plates. thank you so much for this tut

    Thank you so much!! This was freakin awesome, echoing the sentiments of the person commenting before me. And I love that you are laid back about “mistakes” because you can fix it or just go with it. This is awesome! Thank you. Going to try this!!

    Thank you Jamie! You are so awesome! Love your personality! I was learning and laughing at your down to earth commitments (…save money so you can go and buy paper that you don’t need! 😂) as you created a wonderful design! I can hardly wait to make my embossing folders!

    Thank you very much. I found when I tried your method that if I dampened thicker papers, embossed and let them dry I had a far deeper impression. Had to watch the tension though!

    Wonderful. Thank you. I love embossing my projects and usually cannot find suitable folders. I've been hording away cardboard too so l can make plenty. Frugal fun of the sticky, inky, gluey glittery kind. Love it!

    Wonderful! Love it! I have been looking for an embossing folder with a specific texture, and maybe now I can make my own! I want to make gingerbread cookie cards for Christmas, and I want my gingerbread cutouts to have a realistic, all over bumpy texture. Maybe glue some sand of different textures down on a sheet and try that? 🤔 Idk. But the inspiration is there, now, thanks to you!

    Love this!!! I know you made this a while ago, but any chance you know what thickness of chipboard you got from Michaels? Was it .05/55point or something else? Thanks soooo much! ☀️🤗

  • @HaleysArt
    @HaleysArt 9 років тому +2

    Great idea! How long does the chipboard hold up? Can it be used to emboss several times or does it flatten too much to keep using? Also, I have a silicon mat that came with my hot glue gun. Looks about the same size and thickness, just clear in color. Do you think it would work as an embossing mat?

    Hey Jamie: Have you tried using your hot glue gun to put veins on your leaves/ferns yet?

    • @bunnylands916
      @bunnylands916 2 роки тому

      Would that hold up if you used your DIY embossing folder multiple times, or would the glue have to be redone?
