I just purchased a Cuttlebug a week ago I havent used it yet. This video is amazing!
This was super. I just inherited a Cuttlebug, but no plates. So I have been ordering off Amazon for those. Your tips are so helpful. I also have a Bigkick.

Wow this is great I have the same little cuttlebug and I love it. I don't have the money to buy the big shot. but now seeing this video. I may not need to buy one for now thank you so much for your beautiful video. I can save some money that I don't have at this time.

I really like your organization system, and I did not realize that the Cuttlebug can use all the other dies, and cut through thicker chipboard and cork! Have just found your youtube and have subscribed as it looks so full of useful information. Thank you for all the tips and ideas, love the one about keeping a sample of all the embossing folders on a ring, Wish I had done that long ago and saved myself from buying same thing twice.

Thank you for explaining how the cuttlebug works. I had trouble with the embossing. I did it as shown in the book and the pressure wasn't enough so there wasn't any embossing effect. You showed to just put some pieces of papier in between the plates and it works. I needed 3 sheets of paper (230 grms) for a nice effect.
Thanks so much for this video, its informative and you gave details all in one video. As far as I know no one has given this much valuable detail info. Most of the time very little instructions on brands. I "liked" it!

the recording was informative. I was happy to learn that I could use the other brand's A-B plates in my cuttlebug. I would recommend that you consider dubbing in the voice afterwards to keep the distractions to a minimum and to retain the attention of your viewers. It was, otherwise, a good teaching video. Thank you again.

What would you reccomend for simple shaped stickers that have been laminated? Could a machine like this do such a job? I have a vinyl plotter but it's accuracy is been a problem lately. So I'm looking for alternative ways to get accurate cuts.
Could you share the tips on types of dies and what kind? This would be great to print out.
Have you ever tried the dies made for the "Gemini" in your Cuttlebug? I just bought a Cuttlebug and looked at a die package for the Gemini that I really liked but was hesitant to purchase. Do you have any experience with (Crafters Companion) Gemini dies?

I have two questions for you, if you have the time or inclination....
Do you find plastic dies effective for cutting regular (greeting 120gsm) card stock and if so, do you have any preferred plate combos or should I try and only buy metal dies?

Hello.. @Margaretscrafts.. I've been looking for B and C plates and are not able to find them. Do u have any suggestions?
I bought my cuttlebug couple years ago, but it didn't have a C plate, so it's that ok if I use only the B plates?
basically the machine just uses pressure to either cut or emboss. Like an old fashioned washer that had the rollers you put your clothes through to squeeze water out of them.
was always told couldn't use BigZ with cuttlebugs,,,now i can use them...thanks

What size plates are you using?
I bought one last week, and I am having a hard time with a particular die. I have tried all kind of sandwich combinations but it won't go through with this die, which strangely is a cuttlebug die. It is large.

I did not get a C Plate with my Machine, how and where can I purchase one?
I’ve noticed that all the Cuddle Bug machines. Your not running it back and forth so many times. What makes it different than the other machines?
You really don't need to if you you are using the correct plates for the thickness of paper
OOPS almost forgot, that is a great idea to do the recipe cards. I'll have to remember that.
Margaret HELP!!! LOL I just got a Cuttlebug for Christmas, and my local craft store does not carry their embossing folders, all they had was Spellbinders, NOT the M-bossibilities which are 2-sided. When I make the sandwich it does not fit through the machine, I tried to take out of of the B plates but then it's way to thin. Before I buy anything else, do I need a C plate or the rubber mat? Also, love all your ideas because this is getting confusing already!!

I sure wish I would have thought about it better and used one plate to cut with uggg. I messed up both my B plates unlike you....
