There was talk about a spin-off series based on the TOS Gary Seven episode. It would have been something. Too bad it didn't take off. Oh well. The Eugenics Wars Vol 1 and 2 would have to do.
Fear of a third world war is what brought the space race into existence. Sad that war and planning for it drives human ingenuity and application of resources faster than anything else. I hope we can band together in a similar way to solve our environmental problems.
What’s with this stranding business! at here was a discussion with Khan in the episode and he was given a choice. Khan chose to go down to that planet with his following and that crew member woman who fell in love with him. He wasn’t stranded he chose to go. After his wife was killed by that brain worm died, he went crazy. Maybe people should watch Space Seed and get the history right over Khan choosing to be beamed down.
Interesting use of some real historical events, such as the Bhopal chemical plant disaster. It's good to remind people of such horrors. That terrible accident didn't have to happen. Greedy, incompetent men caused the disaster. They knew that the plant was a terrible accident waiting to happen because the plant was old, and in need of being upgraded or replaced. But that costs money, so the greedy people in charge refused to keep the plant properly maintained! Thousands died in an accident that should never have happened!😠😰 Sorry to go off like this l, but it bugs the H out of me when people get hurt or killed because bad people caused something bad to happen, that didn't need to happen. And I get even more ticked off if they get little or no punishment.😠⚖️
I’m Sorry this wasn’t what you are looking for however, There’s plenty of other ST audiobooks on UA-cam that are not dramatized if you look around for them! :)
i love that it is dramatized. Makes it even more exciting. I wish that i could find books like this on youtube for DS9. Especially if quark was reading it.
