I’m mostly into RC Bashing, but after watching the plane videos I’m itching to get one. I remember taking scaled aviation in high school and building a piper cub from a model kit, so much fun and memories. Have a great weekend with your family 🙏🏻

Hey Nate, do still use a voltage alarm on your planes?
Good question! Honestly, not very often. I sort of feel the voltage getting lower on a model like this. However if I were flying something easier on how much juice it was pulling, a voltage alarm would be perfect! I guess it really depends what I’m flying. Eflite models now have telemetry, which is nice but also can be annoying. Short answer, it really does depend on what I’m flying. 😅😁👍💯⚓️

You flew it great. I'm no 3d pilot either, I would fly it the same way. Arrows planes are awesome for the price. I have almost all of them. Another great company is xfly. Great planes. Hobby king is coming back strong also. Lots of options out there besides eflite. Thanks guys.
Awesome plane I love mine, it's quality too as is Arrows SZD glider - apart from the wire undercarriage. Beginner friendly? I disagree with that, in safe you need a square mile to bring it round. The landings are not easy. On approach in no wind it's fast, if you flare it goes into an unwanted harrier or pancakes straight down, it's a challenge and I like it for that. Started mine with 100g on its nose and 50%rates with 50% expo, after many many flights (and wire gear straightening, every 5 landing- on grass, pants off) I'm at 65% rates and 45% expo occasionally switching up to 85% rates. On 100% rates multi tasking is impossible.

Adding expo really helps, but I think mine is happening because I’m coming in too fast. When I approach at a slower speed, it really smoothens things out for me 👍💯😎⚓️

I fly on a small field, and I'm unfamiliar with the Vector Stabilizer. What is the maximum bank angle this plane can make with the ailerons only, in self level mode?
I really wish I would have spent more time showing that. Sorry about that! Maybe if Abby gets up the nerve to fly it, she can show the max bank angle. Happy Flying!!
This reminds me of the Cox Rivets Gas Powered plane I had for an hour, as a child. It worked on two strings, where you basically turned in a circle the whole time. Unfortunately, there was a thin line of finishing plastic on the tail aerolon/flap, which stopped it from moving. My father was first to “test out” my Christmas present. It went straight up in the air, then dived into the ground, with the engine housing smashing into a thousand pieces. This was +/-1973.

It flies much better without the Vector FC. Most of us on the Forum are running the Aura 5 lite Flight controller and a satellite or sbus receiver. Makes it feel like it is twice its size in the air and more locked in. The Vector is not great for 3D and is better for high-wing and low-wing semi-sport planes. You guys should do a review on the Aura 8 and 5 lite Flight Controllers. Try them on a plane you think is the worst flyer and see if it makes it feel like a whole new plane? That would be cool. You can do it, Nathan!

If we do, Motion RC will probably yell at us some more and send all of their employees to leave harassing comments on our channel like the last time we featured one of their products. I’d love to, but it seems they’d rather only promote people who ONLY say good things about their products. Keep that in mind with them when considering where you spend your money. Bang for buck, Arrows present some awesome models for the price. Here in Australia this model is around $450. A similar sized E-flite model (Extra 330 SC) is $800.
Can you hover and touch down just the tail? Make it look like its standing up like a person on the ground lol
That would be so cool! Yes, it can be done, however I've never been able to pull it off, but have also honestly never tried out of fear of crashing. Maybe I'll give that a shot one day soon!!

The connector included on this plane is an XT60, and remember they make really cheap converters on Amazon if you're trying to stay with Deans! Happy Flying!

Oh no, this can fly very sporty in quite a bit of wind! Might struggle to hover it on a windy day, but it’s more than powerful enough to cut through wind 👍💯😎⚓️

Is that a 5 channel transmitter? I believe it is. If so, absolutely yes! Actually, a 4 channel should do the trick as long as you don’t mind losing expo, etc… 👍⚓️

They are an independent reviewer they don't work for Horizon. Plus it would be the other way around. RC Sailors would drop them. Companies don't don't like it when the reviewers tell the truth. That would be a good thing if it were true.

Wait for the Labor date sale if you get Real Flight. Nothing beats practicing on a real plane. There are good free flight Simulators out there. Not sure how good you are at 3D flying. But If you want to learn 3D get a Twisted Hobbies 32" Edge 540 or a 32" Crack Yak 55 or any of their Standard series. They are practically indestructible. Easy to repair with regular CA if anything goes wrong. They fly in almost slow motion so that you can learn quickly. Then go to a full fuselage and airfoil wing 3d plane when you get much better. That's what I did. I now fly a 120" Extreme Flight Edge 540 Gas and Electric version 3D plane. It is super easy to fly once you learn on a smaller plane like the 32" that you can beat on and not worry when you crash.
@@FarmerFpv I'm really looking for a Budget 3d Plane Just for light 3d like High Alpha and Snaps etc. So, I could get the Edge 540 for $50 Less. And Real Flite is an option for me to do practice for maneuvers I just mentioned. So as of right now I am going to wait for the Labor Day sale until I could find a cheaper option. Thanks for the Idea though! I might look more into the Twisted planes when I get better

Cheap for a 1.3m 4S airplane. Sorry I should have clarified that “cheap” in this case is a relative term. Example: No cars are actually cheap, but a Toyota is generally very cheap compared to a BMW. “Cheap” is generally meant to be relative, but I totally see what you mean 👍💯⚓️
