I'm slightly obsessed with Archie. After seeing him in this, of course, and then watching Gran Turismo recently - such different roles. And then there's that *beautiful* face. Lord! I suggest watching these scenes with Felix Amica (Saltburn soundtrack) playing in the background. Gives me shivers.
I can't understand why people call him an asshole and a bad person...I mean, maybe at first he was a little mean to Oliver because he was a stranger, but when Farleigh realized who Oliver really is, he had every reason to be mean to him!
He knows his limits. He was friends with Oliver. We all hurt, argue, fuss, disagree, or nitpick, but we still learn to do right things and break the loop. That’s what friends are for. He was only mean at the Midsummer Party when he started his powerful monologue. He wants Oliver out of the house once the party and the summer are over for being a twisted wannabe, or else something horrible happens. He knew that Oliver stole his phone that led to framing, he kept the information in his head during the party until next morning, but it was all lost suddenly in the end. He was so unworthy to Oliver for taking his place and living a life of his own nor lie. Oliver is a bad person and an asshole. Farleigh is a good person from a bad New York environment. Everyone agreed and should agree.

Love every scene he’s in, I’m still in the opinion that saltburn should’ve been more centered around I read multiple reviews critical of the film say the same for me it’s about the fact that farleigh’s plight being a queer working class biracial American who’s connected to a upper class white British family perfectly fit emerald’s envision of wanting to be subversive to eat the rich genre while also embodying the film’s undertones of obsession, access and sexual morality we rarely see stories of what it likes to be a POC in a white dominated environment in contemporary time and it would’ve so exciting to center that on farleigh
