You look absolutely gorgeous! Anyone that takes the time to comment and say things like that are really just pitty and not worth a second thought. I'm 39 and also a mother and it took a couple of years to strengthen my core, my stomach looked just like yours and with time, slowly but steady it tightened up. I was not a very active person but I started with walks pushing my kids in the stroller and I would do 3-5 minute jump rope with a cordless jumprope and I would try to do the 3-5 min jumprope 4-6 times. I was also in the mindset that I needed to do a workout program but really in the beginning I just needed to move my body. You're doing GREAT and your my absolute favorite youtube mom to watch, I've watched you since I was pregnant 5 years ago and your videos helped guide me in some areas! So thank you!

Thank you for always keeping it real and authentic! Back when I was postpartum with my first and working through PPD/PPA, your “newborn nighttime routine” video helped me stay sane because it wasn’t like all the other polished and perfect ones out there. That’s the true beauty of being yourself; while our parenting styles and choices, as well as overall lifestyle and values, don’t always 💯 align, I love your content because it’s like catching up with a friend ✨

I am six years post partum with my third baby. I found my body bounced back more slowly after each pregnancy. It’s taken years doing Pilates and weights to get my core strong but I’ll never have a flat stomach again. I’ve come to terms with that. Honestly, you look great!

Thank you for sharing and for your honesty. I am only two months behind you postpartum wise and you have made me feel so very much comforted that what I am thinking, feeling, and seeing is probably pretty normal. I rarely comment on videos of any kind, much less one so personal, but I wanted you to know what a blessing this one was on the morning of a sleepless night.

I loved your open and honesty in this video! It's admirable. I truly understand not wanting to work out. I am approaching 40 and I have four birth children five total with a bonus step child. And I have had back-to-back pregnancies Where I Was Pregnant for almost 2 years straight. I had one pregnancy that I miscarried right after that I got pregnant. When that child was three or four months old I got pregnant again and my last two children and 12 months and 7 days apart. I gained a lot of weight to, I am actually about 70 to 75 lb heavier than I have ever been in my life, other than pregnancy. I also have some health issues with my feet so it is hard for me to physically work out. I understand how that can take a mental stress on you. But you are beautiful inside and out, so don't take any comments about your weight to heart.

Glad you’re doing well! My kids never slept until they were one year old either and it is SO great when they hit that milestone lol. My 4th is now 18 months 🎉
I’m only 4 mins in but How is it living closer to your family? Do you think that helped overall anxiety?
Ok just finished the video! Thanks for sharing all that! Felt like I was talking to a friend. I’m a Catholic SAHM and use NFP as well and could relate to all!

My third is almost a year old and I cannot agree more with everything you said!! I’m going to a gastroenterologist soon to see about my stomach issues since giving birth. My triggers are diary, spicy foods, gluten etc. it’s really frustrating since I could eat anything before. If you could give another update with findings I’d love to hear!

14 months pp here ... I decided right before he turned one to try working out again. Lack of motivation was my biggest issue. A couple other YT moms I watch talked about workout apps like CoPilot and I decided to do that because there would be a sense of accountability since I'd be working with someone and they'd be checking my workouts daily/weekly. I've been doing it for 3 months and love it. For the record, I haven't lost anything. I'm still breastfeeding so we decided we'd focus on toning, not losing weight ... but I'm staying to feel a littke muscle here and there that I didn't before. Your stomach looks so much better than mine. I legit have diastasis recti so I see a pelvic floor therapist monthly to help bring that separation closer together. Its gone from a 4 finger separation to a 2 so that's also working ... but it could take about a year before it's completely healed. I'm in for the journey. Thanks for the video!

Great update!!! Our babies are only 2 months apart and I actually weigh less than I did when I got pregnant with her and it doesn’t feel that way. It feels like the clothes are still fitting weird for the weight that I’m at. So you’re definitely not alone there. I do think it has a lot to do with age but also girl you have THREE kids hahaha I don’t think our bodies should necessarily look or feel the exact same way. It’s kind of the mindset of ‘have your kids but don’t look or feel like you have your kids’ which I don’t always subscribe too hahaha obviously we all want to feel and look our best but give your body grace during the process ❤❤❤❤

You absolutely look amazing!!! I have watched Joe’s videos on your channel and I am wondering if there were any specific resources that you used or Joe used to change his mind about your family size. We have two and my husband isn’t open to having any more at this time. We are both turning 34 next year and honestly, I wanted to have a full and complete family by this time, which is 99.9 percent going to happen since my husband isn’t open to more. His reasons are lack of sleep and daycare costs. It’s hard for me because I always wanted a huge family and 4 children. I have tried the serious and emotional talks, praying, and honestly the angry talks (I know those never work but my heart is broken). Wondering if you have any tips or coping strategies for this? We are Catholic and practice our faith very much but for some reason my husband has not come around to the idea of expanding our family.

I can’t believe someone made that comment 😮you look amazing, and of course it’s next to impossible to have a flat stomach after having babies, and that person should have known better. But you look great❤I’m also back down to my pre baby weight after my second baby and even with daily workouts I have that little bit of loose skin that ain’t going away!!😅

I’m glad you’re doing well! I was pregnant the same time as you. I lost the weight 4weeks pp but even though I was the same weight it felt like everything sat differently and it felt like I still had 15pounds to lose. I was working on that but I got pregnant 9months pp so that went out the window.

I would love to know if you're somehow tracking your ovulation and if it's in a corner of your mind even though you're not actively trying ? Also, PT is very recommended postpartum, to restore the pelvic floor and abs. You could really benefit from it, if you haven't done anything! ❤️

Have you tried Zumba? I never thought I would try it because I thought it was kind of an old lady workout 😅. But I got an LA fitness membership and they have workout classes included in the membership and I love it! I started bringing my sister and we have had such a blast with it haha! I am also a mom of three :). My 3rd turns 1 next week too 🥹. It was fun being pregnant at the same time as you 🥰.

Number 1, you look AMAZING. How have you started growing your wardrobe style since postpartum? Mentally focusing on your style? I have struggled after all 3 pregnancy because my belly is sthere after 3 c-sections and one miscarriage in 5 years. You have looked great even in your lounge clothes so please teach me. =]
Number 2, rude for that person to think you looked pregnant. =] My huisband and I would really LOVE to have a 4th baby, but financially I stress about it and it’s what keeps us from going for it. You said your leaving having another baby up to God, but financially do you stress about the finanaces, if you do have a 4th?

Speaking from personal experience, i wonder if youve got a belly button hernia? Your belly button looks a lot like mine, and i have one. I definitely feel a difference in my muscles with it than before. But a lot of the feeling different could just be the lack of muscle strength.
I only have one kid right now and he destroyed my body. I love him, so much, but omg did he do a number on me. Its been 5 years of trying to get back in shape and misc large life events getting in the way, and him physically preventing me from doing any eexercising when hes around. It started out with him sobbing if i tried to workout. Every time. The whole time. Then he got mobile and would latch onto whatever body part was trying to move and try to stop it. Now he wants to run literal circles around me and ive accidentally hit him before because he got too close to whatever body part. We also moved 3 times in 3 years, gad multiple major surgeries in our little family, dealt with toxic family members until we cut them out, and of course, lack of motivation.
He's in kindergarten now and im in serious get fit mode because were planning on kid 2 next year. Its also amaxing for my mental health.
Scales are funny, like you said it can say the same number and the actual body be wildly different. The key really is finding something you dont hate so its sustainable. But working out in the beginning honestly sucks no matter what. Its definitely a trust the process situation. When you start working out hard, the scale goes up for ag least the fist 6 weeks. For me its more like 10 weeks, every time. Then it plateaus, but your body is still actively changing its shape. And then finally, way after, the scale starts going down again. I do pictures and the scale and body measurements once a month so i have multiple ways to check my progress. Also how the clothes fit of course.
Im down almost 2 inches around, and the scale is starting to go down, but its not as low yet as when i started working out 3 minths ago, muchless any lower. But itll get there.
And i promise eventually as you get stronger exercise becomes more enjoyable. It really does. But it takes time to get there.
I think youre looking great. And you definitely dont look pregnant!
