My 2 year old grandson loves this ideo. Cows and Music - it doesn't get much better in his world. He watched it 6 times in a row without one word. Then started jabbering the next 10 times pointing out barns, trucks, etc.
When I was a kid growing up outside of Philly,my brother and I would spend a couple of weeks at my parents friends dairy farm in Lancaster each summer. Wonderful experience!! Trout Spring Farm was a magical place by far!!! We learned so very much and all those cows were loved and had the best!! I could never believe how they knew every single cows name and each cow knew her own stall in the milking parlor when they came in at 5am and 5pm!!! Lifetime memories for me (I'm 60) Old farming days I guess...
My aunt had a dairy farm. Their alfalfa bale room had enough Oder concentration in one area to alter space time. Dense burn your sinus type qualities. Recall the kids bottle feeding the calves. It’s a wholesome lifestyle for sure
I didn't grow up on a farm here in Iowa, but I spent plenty of time on farms . Both my grampas were dairy farmers up until the late 60's, and I had other family members who farmed. I think my favorite part of Dairy farming was the cows, my great uncle raised Guernseys. It's a lot of work, but as kids we had a lot of fun helping out:-)
thank you Tom Dorman - love the way the cows give the camera person the eye! with the farm a lot of care and work yet beautiful presentation, thank you
They have a nice barn, good lighting and newer style milking machines. I was just in Quebec Canada and all I can say is NICE FARMS! Most are 60 to 150 milking. This was awesome to see these beautiful farms but, it comes at a price to the public. Milk is very expensive but the family farm is very much supported. Good/Bad to the farmer and public. Either way, all of these farm families and cows are very happy! I love my Dad's 50 cow farm and hate to see this go away. GO Family Farms!
Nice to see that you still have stanchions. I learned on surge buckets and straps. It was 1972, I was 8yrs old. Keep the faith, if there's a will there's a way.
that is so cool we have a small dairy farm and our last name our farm has the last name of Erickson too and we are located in Appleton area of Wisconsin
Hey jean n family ! Great video! My father loves the country life, animals, plants n is the best farmer I know! He's now back in his hometown Wisconsin after his ministry n smiles mission. Ru open to a homestay? I look forward to your reply please! ❤Xichun
Flat barn milking, tough on the body. Healthy looking cows are well trained. I only milked in parlors with the cows about 3' higher and fed grain while milking.
What a humane way to treat these cows! Outdoor time for them too! I would buy milk produced by this farm in an instant, even if it is a little pricey! Keep up the good work!
MyVideography360 All milk from these smaller farms are brought to the same dairy to go in your typical milk brands, so it's just luck that we could possibly be drinking milk from a farm like this
I love family owned farms. You guys are so loving to your animals. Thank you so much. More loving family farms, less of those abusive factory garbage! Thank you so much for treating them so well. Thank you, thank you, thank you!! :')
The girls are very friendly and clean. Lots of dairy videos show filthy cows. Nice job. I hope you are still milking. I live in Somerset county NJ. about two miles from the LAST working dairy farm. Very sad to see the demise of the small family farm
No the cows are not treated better than you are. Dairy Cows live their entire lives being tortured so that humans can consume their breast milk and flesh. It's a disgusting industry.
I'm so glad they are free and not on them factory farms but Remember when u hook them to the dairy machine let them go for a little so they won't be cramped up
This is a beautiful farm. The cows are very clean, healthy and happy looking. I work on a dairy farm and have some cows of my own. I noticed the cows were clipped. was it classification time or was that just for the video? That is the type of farm i dream of.
I'm am from the Pacific NW and I've never seen a cow up close. This cow reality is like another world. I would try to make pets of all the cows and teach them proper breast feeding techniques rather than mine their milk for profit. Such spectacular animals! Are they like big dogs? Do they have a big, cool animal smell? Or is it mostly stinky? Do you sense their animal power? Or do you milk them with confidence they will not hurt you? Lucky people who grow up on farms. I am seriously jealous.
Some of the cleanest, healthiest-looking cows I have seen. One question: what happened to their horns?? I grew up around Holsteins in Poland and they all had horns... Have they been removed?
+Edward Adams Thank you, Ed. This must be painful for the cow. According to the Humane Society most cows in the US are de-horned without anesthesia. :-(
+ Edward Adams it's actually for protection from other cattle, cows bully eachother and if a whole herd had horns there would be alot of injuries over time, but if you have a herd without horns and then introduce one with horns the de horned cattle will sometimes turn on the one with horns and even kill it.

Jorge at one time there was a program underneath Farm Bureau that connected young Farm men and couples that want to start farming with older couples that wanted to retire they started as a mentoring ship learn how to farm with help of a senior couple usually the couple that wanted to retire does not have children or had children that was not interested in farming or milking cows in the older couple just wanted the farm to continue I don't know if it's still available now but please look into it a mentoring program is probably the best possible scenario good luck my friend good luck
Very beautiful cows . They are very well taken care of .
You keep the, nice and clean and ur farm is in great shape I love seeing this kind of small operation still going thanks for this
what a privilege to see clean cows! shows good husbandry on the part of the farmer despite it being not so nice outside. well done sir!
My 2 year old grandson loves this ideo. Cows and Music - it doesn't get much better in his world. He watched it 6 times in a row without one word. Then started jabbering the next 10 times pointing out barns, trucks, etc.
Grandson is still watching this video - several times a day. He'll ask to see "the cows" before bed now. It's our version of a bedtime story.

I love how they all look at the camera, stop, then walk out.
Nice looking herd.
Best milking video I've seen in a while ! Calm . happy looking cows .
Schöne Kuherde! Ruhiger Umgang mit den Tieren. Grüsse aus der Schweiz
We also are in WI. We do grass fed Angus & pastured poultry ~ Cozy Acres
These cows are being well taken care of. Strong and healthy creatures, unlike gong to the zoo and seeing them limped over and dirty.
Cool vid.
super nice, thanks for the posting.
God Bless the Farmers !!!!
wish I had that barn. I'd be happy with it.
nice clean farm, mines been falling apart for about 10 years haha.
That is one beautiful farm! Let me know if you ever get tired of it and want to give it to me.
Clean and healthy looking cows
how can you keep the cows so clean?
Thanks for the video. What are the stall sizes?

Country boy can survive?
Some concrete, metal barring and some pumps with lines and presto! ..milking parlour$$$

Nice i used to work in a dairy like that in omro wi
Cows are awesome.
What happens to the calves?
I am thinking on how can I have small scale farming equipments-right from farming of hays to mowing and feeding systems: anyone with the idea ?
These cows are treated better than I am!!!!

Camilla Johansson just because you are into bondage doesn't mean everyone is.
Camilla asking someone if they would like to be chained up? Do you know what sarcasm is?
@@Jaisee14 you are a really dumb person the world doesn't need people like you
Here we have a load of people who know nothing about farming thinking that they do.
nice herd of cows you got there.
It is a beautifull video . In my opinion they are " holstein frisian "
What kind off milking mashine do you have ?
Thank-you
I'm so glad they are free and not on them factory farms but Remember when u hook them to the dairy machine let them go for a little so they won't be cramped up
Are y'all still in business?
good video
That is a fine herd of holstines you guys have there
Nice farm
Can’t go wrong with a farming video and Hank Jr. music impossible to do
Now that's the correct way to do it.
:]
But what you do of boy calf
Keep up the good work, I wisch someday I could have a dairy farm of my own.
Do cows observe kristmus with a few days of milk breaks
no they dont because their udders would be in so much pain from all that milk. gotta milk every day twice a day or even three times
Like to know the name of the song
@sunlitweb
most of your question depend on the farm.
its not all fun and games. thanks tho.

How many cattle?
ماشاء الله
you'd be better of with a milking parlour. does your cows go out to grazing or they housed all year round
How do you keep them that clean?
I love dairy cows
Beautiful animals!! They still milking??

+Vlad Wielbut In America the horned gene has been selectively bred out of most.
Horns also make sure that if a cow gets angry it can't stab you
People are going to think I'm joking or pathetic. No, I really don't know how great it must be to have a farm...
As vacas estão bem limpas.
Meu cunhado é um bom fazendeiro, como era seu pai. Eu moro na cidade
where are you located in Wisconsin
I live in Wisconsin
wow that would be back breaking work milking like that but great to see how people choose to do it !!!
Good
nice cows
and a country boy can survive
am planning to start my own farm, what do I need to do?

what happens with the male baby calves?

I am very intrested in dairy farm job
No cow should be harmed
Ordeño vacas des de los 8 años y ahorita soy un experto enciminador manejo tractores se todo lo de rranchos
I didn't understand a word said in the whole video.
I recognized 2 cows at end ? Probably .a.b.s, genetics
State govt has pretty much destroyed the family farm here in NYS, very sad.
hi
Why in God's name is milk $4.52 a gallon in Pennsylvania. Like they don't have cows??
Cow Milk Farm
wow one guy milking
Wouldn’t be long til the farmer is crippled working in a milking parlour like that, there’s really no benefit to it whatsoever
Its too bad we are a dieing breed
Alexis G bull shit it fucken real.
for real! not 900-10,000 cows on 100 acres in dirt pens
Milk cows 5 years cut land hall shit clean lots feed cows help cow give birth rain cold snow heat .👍👍
I think all farmers do abuse these animals at some point....If not the owners but the employees do abuse farm animals....It's a shame!
So nice , I like so much. Thank you
As a farmer it's sad that you make such assumptions. Why would we abuse the cows when they are our livelihood . We treat our cows better than family
Can I get your support(sponsorship) to start ma dream work Dairy Farming Please? @wisconsin Family.
