Farmer's POV (Point of View) is a channel where I share videos of different chores that are going on on our small family farm in Slovenia. We have 60 heads of cattle, mainly simmetal breed and we milk about 35 of them. We farm in a fairly hilly area so our equipment is relatively small. Currently we own 4 tractors: Fiat DT55-56, New Holland TN70DA, Deutz Fahr Agroplus 85 and John Deere 5085M. We work around 20 hectares of mainly grass fields and about 2,5 hectares for silage corn. We also have 7 hectares of forest.
I'm always impressed with how you utilize your pasture areas. The beauty of the land where you live.... it's just incredible.

I was really amazed to see you lead the heffer home shows how you care for your animals and how they trust you did she calve yet That would be something if you got her Calvin on video I've seen some Calvin videos and its always awesome to see new born calves

Hello Jasper .If you wonted to you could take two weeks off just so you can do what you want without carry a camera around . Just make sure you come back thou will miss taking and watching your video’s .Awesome the way the heifers our in single line they know where their going to another grass field.

Hello, good day, how many times do you milk your cows a day and what time do you milk your cows? Can we know the feeds you give daily and the time of day?
Hi, we milk twice a day, at 6 AM and 5 PM, we mix fresh feed once a day during afternoon milking. Currently we feed grass and corn silage, hay and ground corn, soybean, canola and sunflower.

Hey Farmer! Just out of curiosity.... I am taking an animal science class for agriculture and we have learned all the different cow breeds just to test my wit, are those 2 grayish brown hefeirs in the pasture brown swiss?

How long will day normally stay on place before moved?
Couple of weeks, they stay in one place for about a week.

We mix feed once a day. We also add hay, some straw, soybean, sunflower and canola meal, ground corn and vitamins.
