Kurt really knows his stuff Steve Rest In Peace to all the lost souls who lost their lives 21 years ago today September 11 2001 to evil in my condolences to their families.
It's great to see Kurt Deion again. It's remarkable that there have been a couple of generations of Americans who weren't born during "Cheer's" original run. Time marches on--as the graveyards attest.
Very nice collaboration. That’s sad about the wife too. I also read that Anthony Perkins’s wife was on a 9-11 flight that crashed. He’s very connected to the cemetery. 🌻🌻😊
I love how you can relate to everyone you talk to, you speak to them like you have known them forever. This guy really knows his history. He takes it all in. Beautiful cemetery.
Nicholas Colasanto was also a tv director. I've seen his work, as he directed the COLUMBO 1972-73 season premiere, "Etude in Black", which starred John Cassavetes & Blythe Danner, as well as Myrna Loy.
Good heavens, you've not lived until you've watched Cheers and Frasier 😁 I knew about David Angell and his wife, it is dreadful, but his legacy lives on in these wonderful shows. Thank you for sharing this ❤❤RIP
Kurt has so much interesting information. Such a sad story about David Angell and his wife. My parents were on a trip in LA years ago. They were in a small grocery store in an area that is not-so-nice. They noticed a gentleman walk in and get a cart. They recognized him right away because they were both fans of Cheers. They took the opportunity to chat briefly with Nick and let him know he was their favorite character. He was gracious and humble and they enjoyed meeting him. My mom always wondered why he was in that grocery store in that part of town. It left her wondering about his financial status. Thanks to you and Nick for this video.
It wasn't until 1987 that I started to watch Cheers when it began being shown widely in reruns in my area. I was hooked very quickly. Cheers was the last sitcom I religiously watched. The writing was especially excellent.
My parents were on a plane that fateful morning. They were going from Chicago to Orlando. Thankfully, they were not one of the hijacked planes BUT, unnerving nonetheless because I knew they were in the air and we all didn’t know at the time where all the hijackings had started from. They did have to land in Atlanta and take a bus the rest of the way, as all the planes were forced to land immediately.
Hi ! Very interesting and sad story. RIP to all the victims of 911 . Coach was very funny on Cheers ! RIP . Thanks for Kurt's vast knowledge also . Take care and keep on vlogging your great vlogs! Deborah Canada 🇨🇦

I'm sure most people as in Cheers fans know this but Colasanto was honored in the final episode, almost to the screen goes dark at the end. Nicholas Colasanto had a picture of Geronimo in his dressing room during his time on Cheers, and the rest of the series they put it by the piano in his memory. In the last moments of the final episode, Sam takes the time to straighten Geronimo's picture and stares at it for a moment. One of the best finales in TV history in my opinion. Great episode, and Kurt was really great. I know he has a website, but does he have a UA-cam as well? Cheers! (no pun intended)
Thank you for pointing out the Cheers finale tribute! I do have a UA-cam channel, technically, but I rarely upload anything at this point. Perhaps I will upload more in the future. Right now my content priorities are my website, Instagram, and the history-travel memoir I am attempting to publish.
Thanks for sharing that with us HM! I've been trying to get Kurt to start up his YT channel again, lol, but he is a very busy guy! He does already have a few really great videos though on his channel. Especially the one where he interviews the officer who was handcuffed to Lee Harvey Oswald when he was shot! Definitely check that one out for sure.
Watched a few episodes of Cheers. I watch Frasier every week day. One of my favorite shows. So many stories about what happened to different people on 9/11. Those who lost loved ones that day. Just finished watching some interviews about an hour ago on the Discovery Channel.
War Eagle (Auburn Tigers) Kurt is a treasure trove of info. I love Cheers and Frazier. It's strange for my old mind to hear people say they have never watched Cheers. 🤔 RIP to all who lost their lives on 9/ 11. Great video as usual Steve. ✌️❤️🙏🏼

For some reason I’ve never had the impetus to watch Frasier, and as a teetotaler I’ve never had a desire to watch Cheers. I do enjoy many TV shows dating back to the 1950s, and The Twilight Zone is my second favorite show ever. Thank you for watching, and for supporting Steve - he’s great! It’s hard to believe it’s already been 4 months since we recorded this.

Angel started writing for Cheers in 1983. Colasanto left Cheers in early 1985 and missed a good chunk of season 3 due to health.... but they definitely knew each other from season 2 and season 3 of the show.
I’m afraid I have some conflicting information about Bryant. It was not a women-only college at any point. The book “Bryant College: The First 125 Years” from 1988 says, “Beginning in the 1880s, the number of women students at Bryant and Stratton grew rapidly; although they continued to be a minority, they made up a sizeable group.” All the same, thank you for sharing this information about your grandmother, from someone who graduated 99 years after she did.
Great episode, guys. Very poignant... considering today is 9-11. A classic CHEERS Coach episode is "Pick A Con...Any Con". Season 1, Episode 19. Harry Anderson guests. Great twist at the end.
I never watched Cheers until the 5th season. Initially, I did not think a show about barflies would be very interesting. Those 9-11 remains were likely fragmentary, such as a piece of charred bone.
Thank you Steve. Coach was quite a character. He was funny without forching it. It seemed to come naturally to him. Yes he was one of my favorites on Cheers, if not my favorite. They included his death in cheers, I believe woody came in asking about coach and was told coach had passed. Of course he was involved in other projects. Most will remember Nicholas Colasanto, as Coach from Cheers. RIP COACH.🙏🕯🌹🌠. Also 911 was a tradgety we will all remember. Sad David Angell was on one of those flights with his wife. Fred Dryer of Hunter is that person. Great vlog. Cheers had so many great characters through the entire show. Again thanks for this great vlog.
