Ebay always has a few of the old 4-channel Modis for sale, usually cheaper than the 2-channel Vantage Pro. The Modis can do everything the Vantage Pro can do, plus it's a Scanner. Verus Pros with older software are good deal on ebay, too.
Yes . You need a labscope to be successful in speed and accuracy. Do you need to own one to fix vehicles... no. But will you be efficient and accurate at all times?
