Just bought the amor y mariposas collection because the pr package is $150 on sale from $450! Then I searched to see if you had ever reviewed any melt palettes and that’s an understatement! Lol you must have all of them except the only one I’m about to own! Lol I am super excited. My exhusband passed away two days before last Christmas (Covid) devastating our 11 year old son and leaving us searching for housing which has been so stressful so the collection has an extra special meaning.
I absolutely thought I was gonna hate those colors on you but omg ohlala I'm inlove with how it turned out stg I'm soo wanting to buy this palette just for that green it'd goo soooo great with my eyes so I will let ya know when I get it if it looks like I'm wanting it to on me.... I'm learning to blend and I truly suck but watching your vids showed me how to blend certain things together but I absolutely loveeee the green so I'd pick the Gemini pallette....you inspire me sooo much..can't wait to get my rebate back to get a bunch of diff palettes I'm waiting on... got my list already just waited lol
Smokey greens are SOOOOO underrated haha. For a long time I always was like "yeah that aint my thing" until I tried them and now I cant stop using them lol! Even though my eyes are green I feel they pair well with it! Aw im so glad they help
@@BreyonnaFaye yea I have hazel eyes and I find I pair best with greens and blues..golds don't look bad on me either but not my fave..I love poppy pretty colors more the shimmers or glitters I've never been a matte gurl so I'd rather stick with that color theme.... it's always nice to find colors that go soo good with our eyes tho that's for sure....
That Gemini II side is ✨ e v e r y t h i n g ✨ really love those rosey tones! Hope you can do more looks with these palette, it can be a really vampy look and a romantic one on the other side.

I bought the original back in 2018. I completely feel the same love for mine. It's such a special palette. Definitely one of my all time favorites. And I've been into eye-shadows since the late 1970's ... I'm still on the fence about Gemini II. I love the looks you came up with and would really like to see you do more looks with it :)
I bought the original a while ago, but so many people said their shimmers "exploded" and they were unhappy with the quality so I returned it. when 2 came out, I went ahead and bought it, and repurchased 1. They are on the way! Hopefully the quality issue isn't there, but I'm excited!
I like both for different reasons. Grungy greens have been my recent obsession but vampy reds/burgundies are like my color version of neutral…if that even makes sense. I was hoping the deeper red shade mattes in this palette were going to be well formulated, it’s kinda difficult to find a really deep wine shade that packs on the lid well without looking patchy, splotchy or doesn’t want to blend. Not sure why brands can formulated mid tone shades with little difficulty but seem to have such trouble with really deep or light shades.
They're like that for me too! Smokey greens as well. From my experience deep reds are usually tricky. They either lift really easy or they are patchy and uneven. Even the ones that have a good amount of brown or purple in them do it unfortunately
"Love sick" from the STACK has a bit more purple, more burgundy than "love sick" from Gemini 2. I have both, gemini from the first launch and the new Gemini 2. they play very well together and are both spectacular!
@@BreyonnaFaye my guess would be that after discontinuing "the LOVE SICK stack", they has some shades from it like "amelie" and "lovesick" left over and were offering them as freebies with qualifying purchase. Thats how I got them and they are officially out of stock. I think this is a nod to the idea that they wont be bringing lovesick to a palette format, which was definatly a request for alot of melt collectors. Instead, they revamped the shade and put it in a palette that gives a feel for what was great about love sick, minus the purple and grey. Just a theory
I’ve ordered them but canceled a few hours later (order shipped anyway). My reason is I don’t think the Gemini 1 actually looks good on most people. I’ve seen multiple video and pretty everyone can do 1/2 looks with the palettes and the acidic colors are not that flattering even if they’re really pretty as colors itself. Gemini 2 is again really pretty but not sure how much usable are those colors.
Depends on your definition of wearable is. If you can’t wear colorful makeup at work then that’s one thing. Otherwise I personally consider everything wearable because people can wear what they want and shouldn’t worry about what other people say about that
Do you have their smoke sessions and four twenty palettes? if so I’d love to see you do looks with those 2 but these looks are stunning I have 4 of their palettes the formula is so worth it most of the ones I have are green lol I have a weakness for green shadows
Hi, so I am having a very hard time making my eyelids smooth to put on eye shadow. I've tried about 4 to 6 eye primers and none of them work on me. I even bought the Urban Decay and still didn't work. I tried the MAC eye primer and that one actually worked out better; however, my eyelids still aren't smooth. I wanted to ask you if maybe putting a little bit of vaseline and then putting on the eye primer would help to smooth out the eyelid before applying eye shadow. What are your thoughts on that?

it gives me such anxiety when people bend their palettes all the way back like that lol. i know it’s to hide the mirror but it just makes me think of breaking a book’s spine !
"Vomited, diarrhea look" 🤮 Yes what I want is the whole vomit diarrhea and to compliment this I would love to see a Pepto Bismal pink to go with it. 😆 Ok I am being goofy. Seriously this is gorgeous on your pretty face 😍! For real these greens, that I love, can be so beautiful with a pink shadow.

Mine never did that! Smoke sessions arrived broken and my millennial pinks but they replaced them!
melt has too many inconsistencies and weird things happen (like shadows going bad) for how expensive they are tbh!

I mean its worth a shot! Never tried it myself, just keep in mind vaseline doesnt dry down so things might crease.
