Most people would say controller is a crutch for most of the community, controller gameplay is a limiter for cammy holy shit I’ve forgotten how wild he can be on mnk
yeah i definitely respect the ideology to try and learn the 'other side' of input devices but it's clear as day, the dude's playstyle just works so much better with the fluidity that m&k enables
I still think the funniest gift bungie has ever given us was when Mercules (one of the weapon devs) was on the Destiny massive breakdown podcast and confirmed that MnK gets more bullet magnetism then controller. Any time my MnK friends get uppity about controller I just remind them "Im sorry, which input device has less recoil and more aim assist again?"
I'll say the thing no one says - If I see an amazing clip with juicy 3 taps and a 360 snipe or whatever, it's always more impressive of it was done on sticks. Clicking heads is far easier.

Except unlike DMT, the only special thing about last word is its fan the hammer. They'd have to give tlw a unique intrinsic so then what's the point.

Wish they’d give it a catalyst that would give it some crazy pve utility. I love the gun and don’t pvp anymore, the main suggestion I’ve seen is make it turn into a 120 rpm hand cannon when you ads (including range so like 38ish meters) and let it keep its crazy crit multiplier for pve only.

Last word catalyst should be the perk from forerunner that makes it more accurate if you tap fire it instead of full auto firing it.
Or just revert the gun to og status and simply keep it hardlocked at it's current range.

2 months old, but catty could give it a first curse mode as a mirror to dmt's and grant bonus accuracy to the hipfire mode after precision hits and even more after a kill.
I’ve been using TLW for the past 3 or so weeks exclusively sort of using it as an aim trainer and it’s really helped with cross hair placement for me in comp and trials. I WILL master this weapon.

I started playing valorant and use aim lab alot when i took a break from destiny 2, when i came back this season bcus of into the light. I still miss all my shots on tlw, it is until AFTER i turned on crosshairx that i realize the problem wasn't its trash on mnk, the crosshair was

Last word should get a catalyst that consumes your super and gives it infinite ammo and 50% damage buff during the supers duration

Been using LW on MnK and it’s felt great. Sometimes it does do the thing where it feels like it shoots phantom bullets, but 90% of the time it feels good.
I've found on MnK the Last Word no regs way more with flicks than using movement to line up the shot. Feels just so ass, a shame, I love my cowboy gun
The look, the sound, the FEEL. The last word is just so addicting, because when you're doing really well with it do you feel like you are THE guy. Like for real, you are him.

I´ve been playing with TLW on mnk in the past, and one thing is clear - without lucky pants, dont even bother. With Lucky Pants and its buff, TLW works, barely but works, especially when you put the time in.
Without it though ? Hot garbage, the bullets dont go where you aim, and yes I double checked my footage. It happens even with lucky pants, but the consistency of the gun goes so much higher.
Its great as aim trainer for both sniper and hip-fire though, so I would recommend people trying this

So its a weapon arctype shift at the press of the reload button catalyst.
Hold reload to switch the last word into the first curse. First curse is just a 120 with better stats than ignorant hammer but it has focus fury. Here is the killer part.
You can get focus fury with first curse and transfer it to the last word. Swapping weapons will remeber what weapon you had it set too last. Swap off first curse swap back to first curse.
Also the swap animation from one to another is a revolver occalot gunslinger twirl that has a spin blur like the og crash bandicoot spins causing the gun to go from gold to silver or silver to gold.
what if the TLW catalyst reloads 2 bullets in your mag if you hit 3 headshots in a row😳
The last word catalyst should let you dual wield.

Im here to add that someone who has been using Last Word on console since season 12 with about 10-12k kills in crucible, and never took it off off my character. I will say that even though MnK Last Word is miles worse than Console, and im not debating that, Last Word console still suffers from something that it shares with DMT too, it ghosts too much sometimes. What i mean by this is that, someone who has been using Last Word for so long, through the nerfs and buffs to this weapon, i know this weapon through and through, it ghosts inconsistently. Sometimes i kill two - three people with one mag, and sometimes it just does body shot damage with all the mag. I dont know why it does it, but it does it nonetheless. I would rather it be on par with MnK and not ghost shots, then have amazing aim assist. Because it adds that sense of luck to the weapon, "is this bullet gon a hit or miss, even though im my crosshair is straight at the head of the player, who knows". I dont know if its does it on Mnk too, but this needs to be addressed, as it makes the weapon, much much worse due to luck. To make it worse, The Last Word is Glitched too, sometimes when switching from a aimed sniper to Last Word, it just turns into a 140 rpm that is shot from the hip. I dont know why it happens, but it its sure annoying.
MnK movement is so absurdly superior. Whenever I play MnK players I’m just like damn these guys and unhittable. Obviously there’s a lot of newbs on MnK but the good ones are insane to play against, can’t even move my reticle fast enough on max sensitivity
I have said this for 100 years at this point, the secret illegal tech of using Last Word on M+KB in a world post the big nerf from ages back and other tweaks onward, was to use a way less sophisticated mouse, tweak sensitivity(i've used in game 38 Look Sensitivity, 1.5 ADS sensitivity) , tap fire, and be sure to pull down a smidge after every tap. I'm seriously, go plug in an Amazon basics 2 button wheel mouse, set your sens in game a bit higher than what you normally would for things to feel a bit more normal, and over time it'll make more sense.
Arguably yes TLW eventually got not as great on M+KB with more tweaks, especially range changes etc, but there was always an secret solution that nobody cared to mess with because of how many people are used to more sophisticated gaming mice.

Hey Cam, I don't know if you know this, but if you go to your collection, go to weapons, go to pulse rifle, and go for the nightshade pulse. You can farm it and have different rolls. I farmed it last night, and I got 2 god rolls: one with kill clip and the other with a headseeker roll

Purely for swap speed. It also used to have auto reload built in but sadly doesn't anymore.

last word consistently 1-2 shots people for me due to dmg glitching lately and i dont know why its doing it. Keeps happening when i die but get a shot off

What's your sensitivity when playing roller with TLW?
Low sense controller tlw so you can barely tension the stick and have ur reticle barely move but youll still get reticle friction. Im on 6 sense rn, im not sniping as much any more due to checkmate so i value easier tlw shots. I ran 9 for years and i might go back if they keep bringing more special into 3v3 game modes, but for now im 6 sense tlw main in ascendant 1 and its doing pretty well in that comp elo so thats my recommendation.

@@nickgrout2502 Uzume is from nightfalls, Banshee can't sell it. I think you're thinking of the Arc Omolon sniper, Gallu RR3. I've been rocking an Uzume with Snap + Vorpal for a long time now, it's just the most comfortable sniper to me. I'll use Snap + Demo when on my strand hunter so I can grapple around more often.

TLW literally aims for you on controller lets be honest, the crimson too. Everything else perfectly balanced except maybe smgs
Just FYI, touching grass does not give you the satisfaction of using Last Word on controller.
