Minnesota, let alone Minneapolis, was never on the list of places that I NEEDED or WANTED to travel to until I met my friend Cheraya (ua-cam.com/channels/1pf.html.... Minnesota blew me away. I was so surprised with how familiar it looked to my home state of Michigan. And honestly, Minnesota in the fall is where it is at! The city of Minneapolis has a lot of really cool sights and eats. I hope you enjoyed the adventures we had around Minneapolis in the 48 hours I had before we headed up to the North Shore.

We visited Minnesota a few years ago, it is such a beautiful state! We loved the northern shore, it is gorgeous. We visited the Mall of America too while we were there, it is huge! Another great video, cant wait for the next one.

Honestly, I never thought of Minnesota as a travel destination, but I also know most people think the same about my home state of Michigan and it is absolutely beautiful! And honestly, Minnesota is also a best kept secret of the midwest. I have some amazing vlogs coming next week along Minnesota's north shore that will DEFINITELY put Minnesota on your bucket list! Ingebretsens is a really cute Nordic store. They opened up in 1921. They have a rosemaling mural on the exterior of their store too. You should visit next time your in Minneapolis.

My city ! Definitely gotta visit Surley Brewery, North East for some art and great restaurants, and even head to St. Paul and stroll down Summit Avenue and see the old school mansions.
Next time I come I would love to explore St. Paul!

Love it! Next time you're in Minneapolis you'll have to explore the Northeast neighborhood (aka "Nordeast"). Tons of great breweries (Fair State Cooperative is my personal fave), the art studios in renovated warehouses, and great food to try up and down Central Avenue!
I was actually just there! Did not explore Nordeast but did go to Dinkytown for a Korean corn dog!
@@TheWanderfulLifeofKayla Nice! My husband lived in Dinkytown for a few months years ago. It's a fun area, though it makes this millennial feel old, ha. Next time you're in town you can explore Nordeast! I recommend grabbing some food to-go from Taco Riendo or Holy Land and washing it down with a beer at Fair State. Or if cocktails are more your jam, Tattersall distillery is close by, or Brother Justus has nice whiskey and cocktails. Or you could check out Karmel Mall in South Minneapolis for some Somali culture in Minneapolis! (Twin Cities has the largest Somali population in the U.S., so it's a great city to find good Somali food and drink!) 😀

@@garrettrufus you will probably be too late for peak. When I was there, the last day most of the leaves were falling on the north shore. I’d look at the predicated peak foliage map.

you should visit Dubai and come to Dubai Mall. It is the largest mall in the world. I am so fascinated by your excitement by visiting mall of america. I just can't relate to that. I come from a city of malls. So its literally no big deal for me. but i can imagine how its a big deal for others!
I'm not that impressed by malls but the Mall of America is something that when I was younger seemed like such an amazing place with so many things to do. I find it fascinating that people travel from all over the world to vacation at a mall. But it's definitely cool to finally be at a mall that was talked about so much when I was younger. And the fact that there is so much to do is mind blowing.
