theory on why lagoon betrayed us: lagoon might be the alien from neptune, this is not confirmed. but when he arrived on earth, he probably wanted to take advantage of earth. so he later created, the fake himself and vector. the fake himself then created omen_mal and malbear (not too sure which one either created unwell, but its either lagoon, vector or the fake lagoon.) he also created another fake himself which is him but with the same colors as vector. but then, there was the bear apocalypse, and lagoon wanted to take advantage of this by sending sam and whitey in their respective pits. why could it be lagoon who sent sam and whitey in a pit? well, in the new place called "paradise", lagoon will then teleport them "magically, without any effort" after you sit on the huge pile of coins. why did would he need the tokens for the councillors? i have no idea. but as said in the cloud place where you get masterscript badge. sam and whitey communicates with each other and both start saying that while time passes by, they will start to have the possibillity to move around. lagoon probably sent them in pits so the bears would not be hostile towards him. omen_mal also led to whitey's plan to rassemble leaders's failure (this is/was my home refers to when he gets controlled. just before he gets sent in his pit, whitey appeared as mortal man (not confirmed, but the wiki says he did appear as mortal man in his "final moments"). as of sam, the cheese factory is self explanatory. along with unwell possessing him leading to the sos incident (whitey confirms it when he was speaking about sam in his last dialogue, to unlock it u need all tokens except DAYS, exterminator and #3.) sam's agonised skin in bear* shows that he is sorry for his actions and he then gets thrown in a pit. (maybe saint samuel may have something to do with sam's pit?)
According to a comment, this place is Cheed's room, in Ireland, and this Sam there must be just a normal plush, there's nothing wrong with him, and that's just my theory...

What if Sam and Whitey were the actual evil ones? And lagoon is getting help from the motherboard to keep them in separate pits using those weird orbs. The desc of Bear Alpha leaved me questioning if we are the monsters, helping them escape the pit so they can continue their terror
So in yes ending sam and whitey died and lagoon was a traitor all along and we fell for his trap we died too so he stole all the power basically and no ending lagoon got angry that u didnt give him the tokens so he triest to kill u with this creation but u beat the boss and destroy lagoons creation (good ending)
Despite this seeming like the most final boss of Bear to date, what's really cool is that Lagoon is still out there and there's no official good ending to this yet. So i'd assume it's still not over. Maybe, just possibly... We might track down and fight Lagoon?

I was at 100hp untill 500 boss hp was left, then I got swarmed by the "bears" and died when the boss at 80hp :(
