I also picked up a tip for visiting Paris; The Louvre (National Art Museum and where the Mona Lisa is) is closed on Tuesdays, sometimes people will try and offer you "cheap tickets to the Louvre" or "beat the crowds with this special tour group" and they offer a time on a Tuesday, do not buy the ticket because its a scam due to the Louvre being closed that day of the week.
