I couldn’t watch this very long. Thin models with nice ankles don’t help me relate. I cannot visualize how your tips help my problems. There are plenty of pretty women with heavy legs and swollen ankles.

I wish instead of identifying a body "problem" and offering a way to essentially make it look thinner you could suggest brands that would fit better. I know you're trying help but it comes off very body negative instead of positive. The zip up boot tip and stretch skinny jean tip was very helpful! More stuff like that please! I have muscular dancer legs and zero desire to make them look less so because I've worked so hard for them!

liviecwh I think Erin is addressing cankles in this video... just in a more professional way. So not necessarily big calves in the muscular sense but those unshapely calves than blend right into the ankle, thus creating the dreaded cankle. (My ankles aren't as defined as I'd like so I'm not shaming cankles btw)

What if your calves are too big where you cant even wear pants? My size in jeans fit everywhere else but I cant get my calves squeezed in and the fabric is bulging out where my calf is but nowhere else. I have to wear very stretchy oversized pants or skinny jeans that are almost 2 sizes too big with a belt just to fit my calf. I hate it... I want a reduction!

I appreciate your suggestions. However, I don't wear my clothes to impress others. I shop and buy what I believe looks best and flattering on me and don't limit myself on what someone else might perceive as a problem area from their view point.
These tips are great! I'm a naturally tall big boned woman. I'm not fat on my calves at all they're just naturally thick there. And finding boots to fit properly is a nightmare and I notice everything that stops at the ankle makes me look really chunky around that area and I really don't like it. These tips will be great to use!
Pointed toes are exactly WRONG for thick calves. Skinny high heels and pointed toes exaggerate the problem. You need stack heels, heavier shoes - that will correct the thick ankles - the more delicate the shoe the ticker your legs will look..
I have found that DKNY Skinny Jeans are great for thick calves because they are more straight leg than skinny on "normal legs" and super stretchy (reviews online even complain they are not true skinny, which is good for us thicker calves!) On thick calves like mine, it turns into a more truer skinny. I have even seen them sold at Costco a few weeks ago for 20 bucks. And by thicker, I mean I don't even fit the extended width boots and need extra extended.

I got really really skinny ankles, with large calves lol is weird looking. I'm barely 110lbs and 5ft. The other is that I have wear petticoats if I want an A skirt to flare. My waste is weird, it doesn't flare dresses unless they're stiff material. My body is beyond annoying.

They come in wide widths and are quite cute - @24 - you have to measure the widest part of your calf and determine what size boots you are going to need. There is a website called www.widewidths.com that carries wide, extra wide, and extra, extra wide boots. Also you should check Lane Bryant. You can't get skinny ankles. If you lose weight, you'll lose some from your ankles too, but they never get skinny. I also consulted with at plastic surgeon whether it can be fixed, the answer was negative.

Leggings make bony chicken calves look like scrawny scarecrow chicken calves. What are the best tight for bony calves so that they don't look like ugly scrawny scarecrow calves.
