I love watching this guy sm his voice is very relaxing and im verry happy hes stuck to playing indie games and sometiems rpg maker games been here since mermaid swamp and im not leaving anytime soon :)
omg i realized that dr.hollow is referencing dr coomer from hlvrai since he was played by ms.hollowtones and coomer said that line, that's a really cool little reference :] ANYWAYS this is a fun little game it was enjoyable watching u play!!
If this was an SCP-Facility, they would inform the janitorial staff about what is going on on lower levels. Especially if it results in power outrages and the janitor is also resposible for maintenance. They don't need to know all the details or understand the experiments, but the at least need to know the anomalies and what they are capable of. Everything else would be a major risk in security.
So 12:03 Dr. Hollow is probably a reference to Holly aka Hollowtones who voice acted one Dr. Coomer (who looks exactly like Dr. Hollow) in HLVR:AI/Half Life But The AI Is Self-Aware and said the line “You’ll just have to wait after the test” and similar lines a few times, my personal favorite being “you’ll just have to kiss Dr Freeman after the test”
17:59 in the moment this bit of text is frustrating in the moment because it seems like a waste of your _extremely limited_ time but in the grand scheme of things i actually love it bc it shows that getting that totally attainable info from davis wasn't locked behind this arbitrary out-of-the-way plot point, but its still there as a hint for players who missed something and didnt know how to progress. you can read this journal entry to nudge you in the right direction but you can also get the information about cutting the life support completely independently as manly did in the vid. like..... i just get real pissed when games pull a "hey uhhhh u have the key for this door but u cant unlock it yet because u havent done the side quest about the tragic backstory of the npc who lost the key in the first place"
Old games are just something else, the sound design is so good, the dialogue at the start not making sense until you experience the the loop was fantastic
The thing is. Its implied by you talking to the main desk guy by making the comment "we're all gonna die" that he tried to warn at least someone before on what was happening. He tried is best but no one knew about the time loop but him. He was seen as joking when he tried to explain. We only got to see a small amount of time that was the time loop. He could of been in it for months going through stages of grief to save people. He became cynical, and matter of fact. Doing his job as quickly as he could to save himself. That was the anti-sprint.
Ah yes nothing like watching manly all night when i was going to go to sleep nothing like giving me nightmares at night
I had closed the video to go and vaccinate and when I opened it manly said:"hopefully you survive the day" 0:10
Scruffy the Foundation Janitor’s background story.
It isn't often that I'll stop watching a playthrough and go play the game myself, but you bet I'm going to do it for a time loop game.
I like to imagine that he licks the floor clean when there’s a spill
honestly i see so many scary videos and SCP is so popular that turned into horror games
A Manly video a day keeps boredom at bay.
Indeed it does my friend :)
did you get the broom closet ending? the broom closet ending is my favorite ending.
Omg you reminding me that c-curse thing but bless same time
I see that you are a man of culture
Link?
@@lucykaede5863 idk
It's my favorite ending too!
Finally good horror: working in public services
The character is like an anomaly.
Rewinding time or their own life after death.
Like Subaru from ReZero.
Like D-9341
@@雨だれの歌 yeah
Yep, basically like a protagonist's blessing/curse.
No his only power is to remember timelines, the monster is the one with the ability to rewind time
this was such a cool game!! concept executed super well, very unique with being stuck in a time loop and also a time limit. love the walking cycle and the puzzle aspect and there was just enough explanation
I love watching this guy sm his voice is very relaxing and im verry happy hes stuck to playing indie games and sometiems rpg maker games been here since mermaid swamp and im not leaving anytime soon :)
@2:40
I Work next in an office building next to a quarry and it it blasts, it's pretty much the same reaction as this
oh i love me a game with scp vibes
also love the 'Dr. Hollow' reference to hlvrai/Hollowtones. i see the game creator is a person of taste
I want him to read me a bed time story in his deep voice i can't be the only one
I have so many questions and the first is, who had the magical idea to give life support to something like *that?*
Thank you for making me sleepless night more interesting!
Nice pfp
the fact that you said "OHH NOO THE COFFEE" killed me
your videos make me happy and i cant say why. also your acting when a character speaks is really good
The original Groundhog Day loop, Urusei Yatsura: Beautiful Dreamer, explained why it was happening. Highly recommend it.
Pretty cool game/concept.
omg i realized that dr.hollow is referencing dr coomer from hlvrai since he was played by ms.hollowtones and coomer said that line, that's a really cool little reference :] ANYWAYS this is a fun little game it was enjoyable watching u play!!
Thanks for all the inspiration and good content manly, helped me finish my first paid game c:
Keep up the good work!!
Was so stoked when you mentioned "All You Need is Kill" was one of the first mangas i read :)
(Looks like dr coomer)
(named after his VA)
(quotes coomer)
ME: *points* haha thats a reference
If ya just need a lets play with expert level narration just go to this guy lol dude your the best
5:13 the way he says "no, the coffee!!!!!!! 😢" Lmao😂 he sounds so sad, I felt bad for him ;^;😅
In groundhogs day, there is a deleted scene where it shows that he was cursed by someone thus why he got stuck in the loop
I have to be honest, even the game MBH plays are horror ones... I still find it calming due to his voice X3
ha, looks like dr. hollow is a HLVRAI reference! that's neat!
Potentially a reference to Holly’s Twitch handle as well!
pretty sure they once assigned an scp as a janitor...
Laurence, the First Vicar before Yharnam
The thing is. Its implied by you talking to the main desk guy by making the comment "we're all gonna die" that he tried to warn at least someone before on what was happening. He tried is best but no one knew about the time loop but him. He was seen as joking when he tried to explain.
We only got to see a small amount of time that was the time loop. He could of been in it for months going through stages of grief to save people. He became cynical, and matter of fact. Doing his job as quickly as he could to save himself. Because that's all he could do.
I love games like these, it offers so much world building
Manly! you always ask us a question, but I like it~!
Have a good day~ Manly~
