My name is Hammo and I stream on Twitch! I play a variety of "map games" and strategy games, but my favourite game by far is Hearts of Iron IV.
I love this game and it's complexity, strategy and historical focus, but these are also reasons people can find it hard to get into Hoi4. The endless spreadsheets, statistics, buffs and debuffs can be overwhelming without someone to show you the ropes, which is where this channel comes in!
I will be creating and posting beginners guides, tutorials, walkthroughs, tips and tricks videos, just about everything I can to get you playing and enjoying Hearts of Iron IV as much as I do!

You can also speed-up war justifications by taking advisors or focuses with "subversive activities" modifiers. For example Ribbentrop for Germany (-25% shorter justifications), or "NKVD Primacy" focus for USSR (-50%).

My tip as a begginer to begginers: If you play minor nations against AI, you can make you infantry much stronger by adding a medium or light tank with max armor upgrades, it will give you armor, that helps a lot.
For example: 8-9 infantry + 1 medium tank.
Oh, yes, I use it all the time.
Very good tip! Some minors might not have the production, but always worth giving it a try!
That division type is called a space marine, it's banned in most multiplayer games because who remembers to produce AT?

Tip 2 is probably the reason I have a few odd games where declaring war on Poland doesn’t trigger WW2

If I had to give a tip to beginners it would be to focus on industry before politics and army that way you can grow your army, navy, and airforce to their full potential.
It leads to everything else! But beginners need to know what it all leads to, and if they wanna improve army, they use industry to do it :)
@hammotimee a generally good tip for most minor nations but if you're like me and trying to play france as the little entente then you know you'll be forced into war at a certain point so getting the alliances is more important

i think the best tip for me is if you ever dont know about something just hover your mouse on it, paradox got great tooltip

Big tip LISTEN to all the tips from Dommy TommyKay, I put in 1000 hours and holy hell (not getting me this time youtube) they can help, don't just copy, also one from me,
Supply is not consumed by the division but the battalions that make. so you cannot just make 25 infantry battalions in a division to reduce supply consumption.
