Hi Doctor Greene, this is terrific, and super helpful! When you belly breathe in, what should it feel like? Should those pelvic muscles go back to tense, or do they remain slightly relaxed? Also, should the focus of the exhale and slight pressure all in the backside/Pubococcygeus, or should some go towards the Bulbocavernosus, also? Thank you!
It'll begin to twitch, and after a long while it'll loosen up without you even noticing.. However it can go back to being tight again sadly.. Which is why you want to continue until it can be kept loose all day.. Hard to do tho, means you'd have to stop taking laxatives..
Hello Doctor Greene, can you pls tell me what would happen if we push/strain the pelvic floor out. Initially I didn't know about the proper way to do reverse kegels so I did that and developed pain
Thank you a looot, it's difficult to find a proper experienced Pelvic floor specialist here in Perú
Best description I've seen on this topic. Thank you
Thank you, great tips :) Video recording tips: 1. Film also from profil (side) 2. Film all the body (in the firs exercise the foot was cut off).
Thank you so much I wasn’t aware of the gentle pressure and did it wrong a lot thank you for helping me on the details of this
What do you mean downward pressure? From where and to feel where?
Thank you for your detailed explanation, great work
Thank you for sharing! Do I have to bear down when doing the push or I should only breathe into the pelvic floor?

Bearing down probably should not be involved. Only use diaphragmatic breathing to open the pelvic floor.
I can not figure these things out
Been doing this for a year for tight pelvic floor muscles and it hasn't worked
Alright. What happens when you push down too hard....
Wow, I've been doing these out of instinct! But wasn't doing it gently. Good to know!
What exactly am I'm pushing to do these ? Between the anus and cock ? This was very confusing for me
Are you holding your breath during the gentle downward pressure faze? I am finding that holding my breath makes the downward pressure easier.
You have to breath normally
Yes it is but you need to train to do it breathing normally.
@@zoomermcboomer4771 what is he meaning by downward pressure? Which muscles is that focusing on?
