No matter how many you ppl give about Iman, one video that I saw from Palestine where a man stuck in the rubble and thanking Allah, telling other men to have patience , he showed what Iman truly is and make everyone's Iman go up high. Allah is showing us through those ppl , what he expect from us. Total obedience, no matter what you go through. Complete and utter obedience of Allah and his Rasul .

Come on. Is that truly total obedience or is that mental resignation? Because you know you’re in a no-win scenario? under extreme trauma, the mind does shut down as if resigning itself to fate

@@robertpineda2858 You are not a muslim but it's difficult for you to understand. When there is no hope left, the only hope comes from Allah. And in extreme trauma , a proper muslim only seek help from Allah to cope up with the situation because we believe this life is temporary , so what ever comes with it is temporary and the afterlife is permanent. So we try not to do anything wrong in this life to ruin our afterlife, beacuse once you are dead there is no way to comeback .

@@Antaracavill actually I am a Muslim. Good for you to judge someone’s religious inclination from the name. Perhaps you haven’t been keeping up with current events, but Islam is a, global religion; peoples names” notwithstanding. Anyhow, you did not elaborate nor distinguish between “last Hope from Allah” and mental resignation. From a neurochemical standpoint, it may be the same thing. You would think after millions of years of evolution, the human mind has enough methods to cope with extreme trauma.

@@robertpineda2858 If you are a muslim , then i would suggest increase your iman and what's wrong judging someone's religion in this matter. Is being non muslim a problematic thing for you. I did not comment on the basis of Neurochemical standpoint, i comment on spiritual and religious standpoint. As you mentioned you are a muslim , so i don't have explain to you what Allah mentioned in the Quran , with hardship come with ease. A proper believing muslim, this small sentence is enough for them. I don't know how much human brain evolved with time to handle with extreme trauma, but losing one's child in my opinion can be considered an extreme trauma and if you lost your child you would know how it feels like , I have lost mine , so I know and the only thing that keep me sane till today that i believe in Allah's promise in the Quran.

What is the difference between argumentation/debate (1:20) and refutation 24:20?

I have some questions regarding some hadiths I hope Safina Society team answer me:
1- there's a hadith about stoning to death the man or woman who commit zina (relationship outside of marriage) so should the hadith be applied in our lives? Or is it extreme?? There are some countries in the world where this is applied but they're looked upon as barbaric by non muslims and others . How do we explain it to them?
2-there's a hadith that says a woman is awrah, why would the Prophet peace be upon him say that?? And what was the context of the hadith. An awrah seems like something evil or bad. So I'm confused as to why the Prophet chose this language.

I don't know about the second one, and I have only limited knowledge of the first but the punishment of stoning is only for people who commit zina within their marriage... for those who do it outside of marriage it is lashes in front of people.
So the stoning is for doing it and being caught by 4 truthful eyewitness while being married.
      And Allah knows best
