Jazak Allah Khayr, but I don’t think Muslims should feel like they can either toss out their deen or self-isolate and uphold it. Everything comes from Allah even positive effects of supposedly secular actions such as protests in the West.
I believe that our job as Muslims living in the West is to pressure our governments not to free Palestine but to reduce/withdraw their support for Israel. That is how we do our part and we do it knowing that success comes only from Allah. I know you didn’t explicitly speak out against protests and I hope you are not opposed to them but some might interpret your khutba as a call to Islamic isolationism and not using the tools that are at our disposal (i.e. protests, speaking out to representatives, etc.) to apply pressure on governments to change their stance towards Israel. Again, they will never remove that genocidal state for us (that’s our job as you said) but at least we can use our presence and voice to stop them from propping them up.

How does Iran care? It has never lifted a finger against Israel and just made statements. Instead it's carrying out a genocide against Muslims in Syria. They have killed more Muslims in Syria than Israel has killed in Palestine. They have done similar killings in Iraq and Afghanistan, where they supported US invasions by sending Iran backed warlords and deathsquads.
