Im not saying this because he scored a hat trick today however i believe Ben Spencer has been the best scrum half qualified for England for the last 3 years or more.
No doubt he should have been in France when you see who they actually took at 9. .....Along with a few others as well.
Easily
Way better than youngs
Russell instantly bringing the best out of others. Exudes class
Stevenson had an absolute shocker. Involved in almost every Bath try.
Big season for Cameron Redpath. If he can forge a partnership with Russell then that’ll provide a welcome alternative to Tuipolotu and, by default, Jones.
How was Newcastles try allowed? He’s clearly stood in touch when he toe pokes the ball on
Law 18: 2. d) (the ball is not in touch if) A player, who is in touch, kicks or knocks the ball, but does not hold it, provided it has not reached the plane of touch.
It's a weird law but the ball is in-field so the refs got that one spot on
I didn’t know this one either. Thought it might be something along those lines but initially it just looked wrong.
@@philipeafroboy1 thanks for clarifying, they kind of suggested something in commentary, I have just never heard of it
good to know, cheers @@philipeafroboy1
@@philipeafroboy1 its a stupid law, but it didn't impact the end result of the game anyway.
A new dawn for bath rugby let’s go gents
Great to see Finn getting involved, but the poor bloke will never get a week off.
If big Joe could stay fit he’d be one hell of a force for England also it’s criminal that Spencer has only got a hand full of caps, hes been one of Englands best 9’s for years
Cokanasiga had his chance in Autumn
well done Bath, Finn Russell eh? That's quite something...
Well done Bath !!
Swear that geezer kicked the ball while his foot was in touch surely bath lineout
I’m copying this suggestion from a pundit (I can’t remember who) that Cokanasiga should be tried at 12 for both Bath and England. In a Tuisova kind of way, I like it. Maybe not the most rounded skill set at present, but he’d give gain line at the very least.
Shame Spencer isn’t with England.
Good performance by Bath, but how stupid is it that the Premiership starts with the World Cup still going on?!
What a bloody boring sport
Why are you watching the highlights then...
Should go watch football then
I do
@@colinb8103 what a monotone sport
