It was nearly 1:30 in the morning and to your unluck you were awake as you could be.
You recently applied for a few jobs and a worldwide famous company asked for an interview with you.
You were excited, no doubt, but the fear of rejection kept your eyes from closing, prevent you from resting.
You were scared and worried. What if they didn't like you? Or worse, what if they humiliate you?
You sigh and turn to face your boyfriend, Yoongi, the older male still peacefully in slumber.
You took in his soft features, reaching to brush away a few strands of blonde hair from his closed eyes.
He was absolutely ethereal even when sleeping. His usually mysterious eyes now closed, lashes softly brushing against his flushed cheeks. His statin pink lips were pursed in the peace of sleep, still moist and soft.
A hand loosely rested on your waist over the blanket that you both shared.
You sighed and curled up against him. He stirred and you felt fingers threading through your hair.
"Why are you still awake?.." You heard his low voice murmer, still thick with sleep.
"No reason." You mumble in reply, curling your fingers into his crinkled shirt.
The arm around you tightened and you gasped softly as he hoisted you to settle on him, arms wrapping around your waist as he gently kissed the crown of your hair.
"I would like the truth, love..." Yoongi chided softly.
You look up to meet his fox like eyes, hooded down with sleep, but still so full of love and warmth.
"I'm just nervous about tomorrows interview. What if i fail?" You conffesed honestly, burying your face in his neck, breathing in his comforting scent of clean detergent and watermelon.
You felt him twirl a strand of hair around his fingers and chuckle softly, chest rumbling.
"There's nothing to be nervous for. Just be yourself. Because that's who i love.." Yoongi said, stroking your hair.
Your heart warmed at the sincerity of his words.
"Now sleep, kid. You got a big day tomorrow.." Yoongi scolded, although not harshly but more lovingly.
You smiled and you held him closer, relishing his warm aura. He was honestly the most supportive person you've ever met.
You press a small kiss against his neck to thank him. You look up and notice him already asleep and dreaming peacefully.
You kissed his lips and curled up against him, shutting your eyes as you finally drift off into a well needed rest, the sound of his breathing lulling you to your own dreamland.
