You have to do a runtime extension, which I believe is done the same way as older Compustar remotes which is to hit the remote start button two times. Do those q9 units run into issues with dash cam wiring interference? It's mentioned that the antenna use FM, so it should be protected. I got a Viofo A129 Plus Duo hard wired with the cables run along the passenger pillar and along the front head liner. So antenna will be next to the cams power cables.

The T13 has the proximity lock/unlock feature, so is still the top of the line when it comes to keyfobs. But the Q9 series is really great, and MUCH lower in price by a large amount.

Good morning. I work 4 sounds of success down in Los Angeles California. I do remote start 2 way vipers on a regular. On newer and older cars. Is this something that I can install myself, or will I need specific help with programming the bypass module?

You could if you used their new device, called the Key Locker. But under normal circumstance, we would not suggest leaving the factory key inside the car, if someone were to break the window they'd have access to your key
Two things to check, 1. Where is the antenna on the vehicle placed (needs to be in the left upper side of windshield OR behind the rear view mirror. 2. Try changing the battery in the key fob

You can use the DC3 controller with the FTALARMIT kit add-on, you can also use an FT-CMX controller also with the FTALARMIT kit.

You have to go into the feature menu of the 2-way key fob (the Q9) and turn on silent arm/disarm.

I bought q9 3000' range, it performs very badly with a maximum of 100 meter range.
