Rob McElhenny, Bill Foley and Michael B Jordan were in attendance at the Harder Stadium on Saturday during Bournemouth's score draw with League 1 Wrexham. It was a fantastic turnout for the Cherries, however, in truth - we were absolutely outnumbered, underlining the power and the pull of the documentary series for Wrexham...
Here's our raw and unfiltered take on a weird and wonderful day in Santa Barbara.

American national anthem before a game between an English and Welsh side is definitely interesting 😂
I loved this game! I’m so happy that I was able to experience a game with my cherries like this right at my doorstep! It was a very fun experience for me. 🍒❤️🖤
As a Wrexham fan, that was a great watch - and also very polished editing too I might add!
It's great to see how well B'mouth have done, because historically they were regular opponents for us over the years, as were the likes of Brentford, Luton etc and it just shows that R&R aren't all that derranged in their eventual aim of getting us to the Prem...though tbh, I'm not *that* desperate for it personally...it's just good to be playing 'proper' clubs once more after all the years in the wilderness playing what often seemed like 'village teams'...we've even had ZERO away fans on occasions in those years, and you could _literally_ count them on others!
Also great to see the US cherry fans who've stuck with you for years - they really are a different breed aren't they? Once they 'get you'....that's it, they're all-in. (which is something all the jealous haters from other UK clubs keep piping on about..."Ahh, great now you've got all these yanks etc following you, but when your hollywood clowns get bored and drop you, they'll leave in droves too and you'll be back in the sh1t again!" .....We'll see - but for now, we're just enjoying the *unreal* ride we're on, after all the dark times.🙄👍
Great video, thank you. Strange to hear so many Americans talking about us and knowing the subject, in a great way!
As a Newcastle fan it’s brilliant seeing you lads following the club you love but I’m not sure let’s go Bournemouth will catch on back home😉
It’s now 04.05 couldn’t sleep so what better way to catch up with you lads in the USA so enjoy the rest of your trip keep safe and I’ll catch up on your next video ❤️🖤🤍🖤🤍
Wrexham fan here. It’s a dream of mine to visit Wrexham one day. I don’t care how flat it is. Cool inside look! Thanks for it!
The pre match chat with our US fans brought a big smile to my face! Great work guys ❤🍒🍒
It was great meeting you at the game. Safe travels!
Hit us up next time you’re in town.
-the guy with the photo of Rob!
Great to meet you sir! Was a pleasure to speak to you and Beth!
The chant fizzling out instantly made me laugh 😂 the vibe is just so different at American games (been to a few american football games before). Looks great fun though - very jealous!
Wxm fan here... Great vid. It's interesting to see the difference between your Yank fans and ours. US Cherries seem to be way more grounded and substantive. I guess that's because your documentary was years ago, so enough time has passed for the fanbase to mature and you have shed the child-like hangers-on. I'm looking forward to us reaching that stage. Most of our new Yank fans are cool people, but dear God we get some oddities at the moment... The Turf is like the Star Wars Cantina some days.
Hello! All @ "Back of the Net". An Absolute Dream for sam/Tom. 2 be Talking 2 Americian Afc Bournemouth fans. 10-20 Years ago. Other fans. Would have Laughed!.
I hope you both enjoyed yourself!?

a great watch. really good to see so many US chezzers, they seem like a really nice bunch of down to earth, friendly, positive people. the brewhouse looked great. shame we didnt put out a stronger team for the fans...... but thats the peril of friendlies. up the chezzers 🍒
Great vlog lads and brilliant to from so many Americans who supports the cherries everyone of them are proud of the team.Up the cherries 🍒. Looks pretty warm out there..Keep up the good work lads excellent.🍒🍒😎👍
Tom is the funniest😂
What a fantastic vid ! Great to see all our American friends - it's all about quality, not quantity !
Win a trip to Wrexham! Well while they are there, they can visit the grave of Eliju Yale. There is a replica of the tower of the parish church at the university he founded.
Made me so happy seeing all the American Cherries!
Loved the marquee running a competition to ‘Win a trip to Wrexham’ - what dreams are made of 😂😂
Great content and video as always.
It's a shame The BBC can't match the quality of your output!
It sure was great to meet fellow Cherries Supporters 🍒🍒🍒
The Brewhouse is a local institution. Great choice!
Love it from ny
Never underestimate the joy of meeting another Cherries supporter! 😂
great content, wish this was a LFC channel lol :)
👏🏻 🇺🇸
Thanks for the view Guys
Missed the wild celebration when Bournemouth scored. But to be fair most Cherries fans don't watch games as part of a group. If I jumped up and down like a crazy person at the footy bar, the big fan groups would be sure to raz me about it.
Great video as always. Do they play the USA anthem for every single football match over there? Imagine if we did that for God Save The King?! Couldn't happen at Anfield or in parts of Belfast or Glasgow for a start!
Or at the Welsh EFL clubs! 🏴🏴🏴
@@nicholasjones7312 they are happy to play in England but not stand for the King! Their own King!
The National Anthem, “The Star Spangled Banner”, is played before every single sporting event that has any kind of crowd in the US. Baseball, Basketball, Soccer, Football, Swimming, Wrestling, Gymnastics. This applies to sports competitions down to the level of little kids sports as well. Not always, but it’s very common for an U9 level basketball tournament to begin the day with the national anthem before all of the games tipoff.
So of course for something as important as professional Soccer there’s going to be the national anthem. If it’s truly important, then you’ll have aircraft fly overhead before the match starts.
Brilliant as always guys, always watching and listening to your shows and podcasts. I'd love to watch this NBC documentary on the cherries, can anyone point me in the right direction, all I can find is out of date links ?
Lovely to see so many american fans in Cali. Both coasts are now fully infiltrated by Cherries supporters. USA nearly surrounded and will soon capitulate. UTC!!! 🍒🍒
Who are the "Cherries"?
@@JB-kf2huAFC Bournemouth
Do you guys appreciate Josh King back in the day?
Regards from 🇳🇴
Still our record PL goal scorer. He was great. Left under a bit of a cloud but that happens sometimes.
Suppose to say to hear from so many Americans.Bring on the Arsenal.up the cherries 🍒🍒👍😎
How can I see the documentary mentioned?
FX
Nothing is wrong with it but you can easily tell the difference between scoring a goal in the uk and America
The lack of, erm, passion from fans does come across a little awkward. I guess it's a cultural thing.
How about letting inhibitions go and belting out some player songs at the arsenal game? It might catch on.
When you order chips, but get crisps. 1/10
I hate to say this but forget Tyler Adams. He is star spangled banner, USA!USA! USA! And nothing else. An expensive injured paycheque magnet. Sorry.
Friendly games give so much expectations but generally bring you back to earth rapidly. The positives are they will get batter. UTCIAD 🍒🍒
I think Arsenal my be a bit early for us ???
Nope just check the players they took to the tour
@@gunner4life568 Yeah lot of squad players & kids for us, as most of the big guns were involved in Euros or Copa America.
Not a Bournemouth fan but always like your vid's especially rating grouds, wish you'd won as I'm not into the Wrexham thing at all!
everyone outnumbers bournemouth
win a trip to wrexham??? what a nightmare that would be
Having been to Wrexham (unlike 95% of their so called fans) I can confirm you have got that right.
Like anywhere in the UK there is a lot to see and do in and around Wrexham if you do a little homework. There are some great local sights and beautiful countryside. It has the World Heritage Site at Ffroncsyllte, the gravestone of Eliju Yale, the National Trust house at Erddig, a building where cannonballs were cast for both sides in the US civil war, numerous industrial heritage sites and beautiful surrounding countryside. It’s also a good base to visit North Wales, Liverpool, Chester and Cheshire, Shrewsbury and Shropshire. I have lived in the area for over 30 years and believe me it is a very good place to visit. Just one small example. I have a four mile walking route around Ruabon which includes an Iron Age hill fort, an ice house, a bee hive lock up, a former CAMRA pub of the year, Offas Dyke, several buildings for the former Wynnstay Estate, a coaching inn, a sixteenth century grammar school, some eighteenth century almshouses and a medieval church, plus a wooded valley and open countryside with views. Beat that!
