I'm glad we have copies of copies of copies. If it weren't for all those copies we would not be able to piece together a cohesive understanding of the originals. Having all those copies also lends credibility to the importance of the Gospels, as well as prove that many scribes and Christians were deeply vested in maintaining the continuance of the Gospels. It is God's Word after all and Atheists should learn to accept that God made sure to keep his word alive to witness to the world forever.
Most people give some kind of account to a God calling them to start in church, this gentleman came out and said that he started to church with no acknowledgement called him or directed him to start the church to meet this problematic. I don't know the gentleman at all let that be known, but I would assume that he should acknowledge that God directed him to start the Church. Thank you for sharing this video
Some of the year dates given (59 minutes in etc.) away from the originals are out-of-date info. It is also probably safer to say that the NT mss., if put one on top of another, would be higher than the One World Trade Center building. Other than that though, good stuff. I remember seeing one of those purple Gospel manuscripts digitized online, perhaps through Gallica. :) There could be some controversy over Xenophon's writings, concerning how well we can recover the text.
Overall, the New Testament is accurate except for Romans 8:1,2 in the King James version of the Bible. Merrill F. Unger addresses this in his Unger's Bible Handbook. What happened is that the KJV scribes lifted half of Romans verse 4 and added it to verse 1. By doing so, it obscures the Word of God. The most important Word of God. Of all of the scriptures to NOT pervert, they managed to do that very thing. Romans 8:1,2 explains salvation, but the KJV distorts it by changing the Word of God.
I don't have the origins of the data sent to me across the internet. I still trust the information contained in the emails sent to me from across the web.
The fact is we don't have the originals of the new testament. Dr Wallace is talking about the copies of copies that are available today. But he don't want to discuss whether the available copies stems from a correct original copy .

Wow, some are eating earthly food. Many are eating food from above
Thank you very much for making this available for all of us. It is such a blessing to be able to learn these things.

Don't tell that to KJV onlyists. But there is myriads of translations Also, English is not the only language that Bible was translated to.

Don't lie. He talked about it many times.
@@luboshcamber1992 Thanks. I was going to say the same thing.
Signing a non-disclosure agreement about something so significant just absolutely destroyed his whole credibility. What a sell out.
