I wish these videos had been available then, they might have got me to take it more seriously. Now, alas, my hads are a little shaky and I struggle with small parts (I'm currently putting the decals on the Airfix Westland Lynx Mark 88A helicpter having left out some tiny parts. But thank you sooooo much for showing these amazing dioramas.
Hi Ian...I've returned to model making after 30 years. The only inspiration I could get in the old days was the kits box art and the Tamiya catalog :-) ... now there is so much to see and discover in this hobby ... for me YT has opened a amazing window for observing the work and techniques of other model makers out there in the world...my eyesight gets a little worse every year...but it's all about enjoying the hobby my friend ... thanks for your visit and for your kind words !!! ... a big hug and happy modeling, cheers Markus
Beautiful work with great accuracy and skill at reproducing the original colours and various tones of camouflage used during world war two for armoured vehicles as well as uniforms. My favourite diorama however is the one representing a german "schnellboot" in the process of launching a torpedo . The illusion of foaming scum and choppy waves created by the hull of the boat dashing across the sea at top speed is simply amazingly realistic !!! How can it be done to look so damnably perfect?.. Congratulations by all means!!! To admire every detail of this fabulous "matchbox" museum I find it worth "freezing" each scene for at least ten up to fifteen seconds before proceeding to the next one Hoping there will be many more novelties to be seen in your next video because you are a highly talented model maker...

However, I can only refer your praise to my photos because I only photographed the dioramas myself at various exhibitions. réalisations parfaites, techniquement très abouties , détails exhaustifs ,trés beaux dioramas mais nombre d'entre eux ne raconte aucune histoire .............la mise en scène, ça se travaille aussi. perfect achievements, technically very accomplished, exhaustive details, very beautiful dioramas but many of them tell no story ............. the staging, it also works.

Such interesting dioramas. They all tell a story, rather than just some Tiger tank rumbling down the road. And a lot of lesser vehicles featured, rather than just tanks. These are very well done!

Das war eine tolle Zusammenstellung Markus! Man kann sagen was man will, auch wenn es zunehmend schwieriger wird, wir haben bei uns in der Gegend und im mittleren Umkreis doch ein paar feine Ausstellungen zu bieten. Danke dafür, dass auch ein paar meiner Sachen den Weg ins Video gefunden haben :)
Danke Michael ... und sehr gerne! ... die guten ins Töpfchen :-) ... ich bin wirklich froh über all die hochkarätigen Ausstellung in unserer Nähe ... eine große Bereicherung und ein sehr hohes Niveau!!! Am meisten haben mich tatsächlich Leipheim uns die Augsburger Modellbautage begeistert ... sowohl die Ausstellung als auch die Atmosphäre, die Roadtrips mit Carsten und unser gemeinsames Mittagsmahl waren großartig ... bei Ried konnte ich nicht ganz an die Begeisterung der ersten Besuche anknüpfen ... da war der Road-trip unser gemeinsames Mittagessen das Highlight ... aber so is das halt manchmal ... nach einigen Jahren trifft man halt auch viele alte bekannte "Modelle" wieder. Grüße und einen guten Rutsch ins neue Jahr und natürlich happy modelling!!!
