Also a great piece of engineering too. This rotary motors should have new versions including direct fuel injection. Volkswagen can create 600hp from 2.0 four cilinders Mazda should get even more power in such compact power plant.
I think it's tasteful, rather than going with the usual JDM styled rims, this build is perfect staying with the usual USDM style because it was built and restored there.

This, this is a restoration. Not some VQ, JZ or the worst, an LS, restoswap missile with a stripped interior, but a restoration back to what the car should be. Thank you for not ruining yet another rotary like so many others have done.
The FD has such a gorgeous shape to it. Very clean, graceful, and elegantly mature styling instead of the tacky, 'noisy' styling of most modern performance cars that look like they were drawn by a 12-year-old in their bedroom with stupid scoop, grills and crease lines all over the bloody place. It a right bloody shame there are no other cars like it at any price really, even though it's only looks. One-of-a-kind ride. We have one sitting in our own garage! Haven't driven it in years, it's a shame neglecting it but I can't be arsed to fix it (front rotor chamber is inhaling coolant.) Just lovely machines.
I love thise type of montage because i don't have to skip 12:35 min on a 20:00 min video to actually see what they have done on the car . Like on those Vlog Tuner video with title like " INCREDIBLE BUILD OF A R34 " and the guy start talking of his lige and those T-Shirt that he try to sell on E-bay and then he start a entire vlog of his day like how he go eat something at McDonald's or something and in the last 5 min of the video he show the R34 whith Nismo Wheels... you know what i'm talking about . But this video of 10 min on this RX-7 is awsone keep going guys i love it

Really cool being able to see the rotor engine. I still remember the day I first learned about them. Your transformation of it did such justice. Masterful skills guys
You can't hate on that build, it would probably take me 5 years or more to pull that off not including big dollars as well. These guys are fast and have mad talent. I wish I could pump out cars like this.
What everyone needs to realize is this is phaze 1. Mickey is working towards phaze 2. Ricky and family might as well move to the shop with Mickey. Big Jeff needs to get a sleeping bag as well.
Victor Silva that’s true, but also the service. I’m not sure, however you need to change the piston like on an two stroke 😂. Furthermore the engine consumed a lot of oil, also like a two stroke 😂😂
I run 2-stroke oil in my gas to help keep the seals in good shape. My turbo averaged 16mpg, my non-turbo gets maybe 18mpg. However I've never driven a car that can handle like they do and the sound is amazing when they're tuned up right. Definitely a fun and unique engine with a lot of potential (if you have the money)
