I always imaged Kris, or any of the Dreemurr kids fighting like this. I’m a big fan of Dragon Ball, and you captured the spirit of it perfectly with Deltarune. Specifically, I see Frisk fighting like this. They’re able to make perfect moves since they already know what’s going to happen.

The problem isn't that he's fighting to save the world, but the factors in it. First, that Kris isn't Kris in Snowgrave, he's objectively being controlled by an outside force. So is this outside force good or bad? Well first their objective seems to be just "getting stronger," not saving the world. And second, a lot of your enemies getting in your way don't really want to fight you and are pathetically easy to spare when you think about it.

With the notable exceptions of the swatchlings, tasques and taskmanager, who seem to be birds and cats, every inhabitant of the cyber world is either a virus (arguably not a living thing), advertisement or some sort of animated inanimate-object ranging from syringes to electrical plugs. Most of the darkners in Cyber world wouldn't die if frozen solid. They are only immobilized until they thaw. Birdly was trying to kill Kris and Noele, so even though Snowgrave froze him, perhaps even to death, it was an act of self defense. He had lost his mind and choose Queen's lies over his friends wishes and safety. Don't get me wrong, Snowgrave is still a deeply unsettling tragedy, but Berdly dug his own grave time and time again, and he was digging it deeper til the very end.

However we were outright told darkner can die in Part 1 (this being the major reason Lancer imprisons the party, to avoid them killing his father). Further, even if they're just cards and spam emails in the real world, on the dark world they have fully fleshed out lived and personalities, and can feel pain and joy. I'd argue this makes them considerable as real enough, even if it's through magic. The question on morality falls fully to is Noelle's ice lethal. The way it's portrayed, it's definitely meant to imply it is. However I could also see "your choices don't matter" being drug back and in part 3 everyone is thawed. We'll have to see on that note
This is exactly how I felt when I beat Berdly (with Noelle) for the first time. I don't know why, but that fight was more difficult than the fight with Queen!
