Good morning 🌅, Great work, could you used the root as a peace of Art, or even given it to someone to turn into a bowl, not sure were you live, but I watch quite a few what time is over in the USA and Canada, , Phil Anderson and Sprague Woodturning, to completely different style of turning, I’m sure if you’ve got some unusual pieces, they would be interested, I would love some but I’m too far away. I’m round the other side of the pond., keep up the great work your property looks amazing, France.

Have some red cedar. Wondering as strong as it smells, being used as a charcuterie would the smell transfer to whatever you have on the board?

Eastern red Cedar has toxic! It's not food safe.

A skid cradle would work great in your situation. Keeps the log from getting too much dirt ground into it when skidding. That saves saw blades.

Glad I came across your sight. Working on a red cedar fire pit table as I type away. Where did you get the brand iron made up?

Great video. I just got some eastern red cedar. Does it need to dry before cutting and sealing? Looks like yo cut and sealed same day. Thanks

It was a dead tree standing so it was already very dry when I cut it down. I have a lot of old dead Eastern Red Cedar on my property that is getting choked out by the hardwoods. have a moisture meter that I use to make sure it is low enough before using.

What type of finish did you put on the wine flights? Your products look amazing.

I cannot comprehend why you did not drive up to the fence post you cut and throw into the utv? Was it just for drama or more content?

You really do need to wear GOOD respirators when sawing, especially cedar.

I am not trying to tell you how to run your shop, But it would be MUCH better to lower the Router table for your Daughter to use. I would hate to see her get hurt from a kick back. It may be the right height for you, But I think somewhat too high for her. Other than that, Great video, And beautiful slabs. I could almost smell that red cedar.

He could also teach her proper feed direction. That also prevents kickback.

Why wear safety equipmen when it is not used? Tree falling. Also with the first portion of cutting boards. The boards did come out nice.

Why would you possibly not fully use the safety equipment that you are wearing? It just really makes you look silly. Stopped watching at about 00:42.

You couldn't really see it, but I had safety glasses on. I was using the helmet for protection from falling branches. The visor was not needed in this situation and sometimes is just overkill for some jobs and the attached ear muffs broke on one side so I had to make do. I assume this is what you are referring to.
