    Have you had any trouble with the hoochie skirt slipping over the swivel and siding down onto the hook ?

      Great question! Honestly no I haven’t but I suppose it is possible to have happen if the top hole is cut too large

    Hey I've got one for you to try out. About 10 year's ago I started rigging my buzz bombs on a .035 stainless steel wire. I dressed the hook's with flashabou. They out fished about everything on the beach and it doesn't wear out your leader

      Do have a video of how it's down or pictures I can view?

    Could you recommend a decent jigging rod for these setups that won't break the bank?

      Might I add that if I happen to hook up to a 20+ lb king at some point in the rods life it would be cool to have it perform hahaha

      Absolutely I would look at a 8’6 size rod. For budget wise shimano and Okuma have more affordable lines that will work. In my videos I have been using a velocity salmon extreme 8’6 spinning and love it

      @@HolyMolyOutdoors What line weight do you suggest? My 15-35 always felt too stiff, and my 6-12 too wobbly

      8 to 17 or 10 to 20 will give you backbone with some flexibility for casting lighter lures........works welll for us in BC
      I have a 8 ft 6 Fenwick 8/17 and a shimano coho rod 9ft 8/15 it's moderate so the whole rod bends which I like

    what is the length to weight ratio on the rotator lure?

    • @HolyMolyOutdoors
      @HolyMolyOutdoors  2 роки тому

      I believe the 2 1/2” size is 2 oz. I am not completely sure on the ratio of length to weight

    Do you troll these or are you casting with a spin rod? Thanks

    • @HolyMolyOutdoors
      @HolyMolyOutdoors  3 роки тому +2

      You can for both. Specifically I cast them from the boat or shore on a spinning rod
