I have some of these dies and running through more than once and experimenting with paper types really help. I also watch for example photos of the dies in completed assembled products, like the bird set. Take screenshots of the example photos. Can really help when trying to figure where those little pieces go like the bits for the bird's head. Thank you for sharing this.

You might see a difference when running your thin dies through....cutting face up. Just my opinion.

I recently started learning to use my wafer thin die collection, normally I stick to steel rule dies and I use my cutting plates to within a millimeter of their lives. They worked fine for my simpler wafer dies, but I learned to keep a fresh plate to use on my more intricate dies, anything where a lot of paper got cut through at once.

Put the intricate dies rough side up, underneath your paper instead of rough side down on top of the paper. It's also easier to poke the little pieces out of you leave the paper in the die. It gives you a sturdier surface to work with.

I've watched a ton of Temu hauls and I have to say that I like it better when it's just the showing of the products with screenshots of the finished product vs. watching you die cut them right on the spot -it takes so much longer. Most of the other influencers do a second video where they're testing their products. I still enjoyed your video, but it seemed to take so much longer and didn't keep my attention vs. the other way. As far as the electric die cut machines, I have three! The Gemini was my first one and I loved it. My last one was Anna Griffin's Empress regular size and I don't know what I'd do without it. I use it 99% of the time because in watching her, you put your cardstock down on the magnet sheet, then put your cutting die on top of the cardstock, so it doesn't move, no need for washi tape to hold it in place. Her magnet sheet is thicker than the Gemini's so it works this way. A magnet sheet is only $12, so it's inexpensive to replace, but I use mine everyday and it lasts for at least a couple of months. I even bought the mini Express and love it for die cutting little dies and words. These two machines are game changers! I hope my opinions helps you in some way. Thank you and I'm glad I found your channel.

I just looked up the donut hole punch. It shows it's for using with washi tape to make little sticky hole protectors. Awesome little gadget. It also looks like she barely squeezes it and it cuts the tape perfectly and then you just peel the little donut off the plastic sheet.
Also, there's a very neat tool to help get rid of all those little pieces out of intricate dies. I bought one and Micheal's and found one on Temu. It's a brush with a foam sheet, you lay the die on the foam and roll the brush back and forth and it gets rid of the little pieces. Search "die cut brush tool"
I enjoyed your video, I like that you showed the die cut outs, not just the die. You have a calming voice which is nice. Love seeing your cat!

Thanks for actually showing what the dies can do, rather than just showing a die in a package. If you line your die with waxed paper or dryer sheet, they will come out a lot easier. I order a ton from Temu and I may have had 1 bad die out of hundreds...yes I have a problem😅. Cutting side up helps as well or just add an extra little shim

Yes, I am aware of some of the designs being copies....I am in UK and for years have been buying Alexandra Renke dies and stamps...since brexit they will not post to UK....checked last week again.... I have resisted for a long time but there is one flower die I would love so have given in....this time ...have even thought of heading to Germany to purchase.... I dont go for cute stuff and would really rather be able to purchase at oroper price.

I have dies and thought they didn't cut through properly, then realised they cut and emboss! Birdie the part with the hole is the head and beak, the 2 feather wings the other part could be the chest but I didn't get a good look, hope that helps.

Enjoyed your video, I don't know if this helps anyone, and I don't know the lady who showed it on YT, but when card shims and various plates don't help on intricate dies use bubble wrap, card stock then your plate. I have tried it on a tricky die from a well known company and it worked. Definitely foam pad and brush for tiddly bits in the die, leave in the die and brush from the back.

You need a die brush tool. They have them on Temu. Also try using a fresh dryer sheet on those intricate dies. Watch how to on UA-cam. It works.

haven't read all the comments but feel someone might have mentioned this....I dust intricate dies with talcum powder first....and its not just the cooies which are hsrd to extract from dies..it applies also to expensive brands.

Hi Lisa, some cute dies from Temu, I've had a couple that just wouldnt cut through no matter how many times but mainly ok. The bird with the pieces...is there a picture on the Temu item that would give you a clue? On thin dies, use a thin die adapter. You can try adding a piece of paper between the plate sandwich, but the adapters don't cost much.

Well then just keep scrolling. I buy what is affordable for me and I don't apologize for it !! And if you knew what you we talking about, if you look at it the products come from all DIFFERENT companies, temu does not steal designs if there is that going on then it is the individual company's. I have seen where Simon says is one of the companies, and I have seen STAMPIN up listed as a company !!! Temu is like an AMAZON..
SO IN CONCLUSION maybe you should research before condemning

I have to buy from Ali and Temu. Otherwise, I wouldn't be able to craft. However if I see a die that is clearly labeled another name , I won't buy. But when you can buy a die for $2 to $8 vs $30 or $40, I'm going to do it. Just remember tho, their stamps are silicone vs photopolymer (?sp) so they need to be used with a different pressure and may not stamp as well . Pick your poison
