OMG what a haul! Interesting to learn about better mushroom quality in dry weather; those mushrooms are perfect, and cool that you found the different varieties. A beautifully constructed video too!
It is interesting about the dry (I should say cool dry) and I wonder how many good hunts I passed up. Yeah I don't think this has happened to me before with three perfect shrooms, three separate kinds. I feel really grateful for this one. And I was actually out to shoot our review video mainly. Go figure! Oh yeah, and I promise I almost have it done finally.
@@paxtianodirtfrog8947 so funny, today I tried to re-record a section for my book review video because there were parts that were rambling and confusing. OMG I think that it made it worse! I’m now considering re-doing the whole thing, so no worries. I’m thinking that maybe I should publish a short garden vlog this Saturday and maybe we could put out the book video next Wednesday or something. I don’t want to spend too much time on this, but I do want to try and be as clear & concise as possible 😩
Beautiful clean chicken mushroom man and very valid points too. Too much rain and they can become mush or bug infested. Awesome oysters too, I went out yesterday but found nothing. I believe the winter ones we get here are grayish in color. Have a great upcoming weekend brother, hope you are well
Yeah, I felt lucky for this hunt and you've been there when you find what would have been perfect just riddled with bugs. Such a heart break! Thanks, and hope you have a great one too brother!
@@paxtianodirtfrog8947 Oh been there many times brother and it is sad, especially when I find Morels no good! You're welcome Paxton!! and you have a great one too brother
@@paxtianodirtfrog8947 I heard these are good breaded and fried but never got the chance to find any yet. I did see them in the store not long ago but goodness man they wanted a fortune for just one medium round guy, I think 23 dollars lol!!!
@@WaltRevenJr Oh dang, they think a lot of them! I've never even spotted them in the store. I have a friend that makes them into a crab cake. I think that's on my bucket list too.
@@paxtianodirtfrog8947 Yea man that was the first time I have ever seen them in a grocery store, harps had them.. not sure if you have harps down there(not that it matters as you can get them in the wild). I too have heard that about crab cakes, I also heard they do taste like seafood but idk
