The white robot is beating the pants off every other robot in every match I've seen it in. It appears to be "coached" by a kid about 12yo. Is it the skill of the coach or the tech of the robot? Some english subtitles would be stellar.
until now I don't understand why there is a mix between japanese and english , why they don't count ichi, ni, san instead of one, two, three... why is that? it bothers me a lot... kind of frustrating, sankyo (thank you) instead of arigato, and a bunch of other words which already exist in japanese, but they switch to english. oh I remembered a word, "homework" that turns into homuwarudo or homuworuku I don't remember. why they just don't say "Shukudai" which means homework I guess in japanese? what a mess..
That blue one has a really good moving style, If you compare to the many toher robots of this league! Improving its staing abilities will make even more awesome! :D
The blue one would have one if the pilot was better. It has smoother and quicker mechanics and can put more kinetic energy into its blows at a faster pace due to the hip swivels. The black one only has force from its elbows and legs, but the blue one can abuse legs, elbows, and hips. Too bad the pilot was a better mechanic than he was a fighter.
You guys have to understand that we once came from an era where we found banging sticks with rocks actually make sounds. Human evolution is amazing if you really think about how far we have come as a species here.
There are so many things I didn’t know existed. Real life Street Fighter robots?!? I feel like I’ve been missing out!

obviously there are rules dictating these stats. otherwise why even use a human shaped robot. just go with a flat disk with wheels.

western way of robots is to put a heavy spinning blade on it and run it into the opponant.
Japanese robot fighting is more about sophistication and complexity while western robot fighting is more about raw destructive power.
