Appreciate the information you gave me. As soon as I finished watching your video I went to check my potatoes and they suffered from the blight and I was able to harvest at least 15 to 20 potatoes. Thank you very much for the information

I am so glad this helped you. I love my potatoes!!! I am going to try growing them in grow bags this year since we are building a house and I won't have much time to tend to my garden. Thank you for watching!

I've also read to wash your seed potatoes in hot water before planting them in case the seed potatoes have blight from the previous years grow 👍

I feel your sorrow in this video😢. I am a first time gardener and this happened to me. Result of a perfect weather combination and my lack of knowledge. I took the same pattern of action you did and I’m now going to be using the fungicide spray on the tomatoes because I’m seeing a few signs on them. What a pain in butt this has been.

Just awful.. I live in Maine and we have had the worst weather in spring. It felt like it rained April-June... July has been hit or miss. We seem to be in a sunny streak now. My onions and garlic are so small... Just a bad garden year. I hope you have some luck.. been a tough year!

I used Oregano, Thyme, Fennel, Lavender, and Rosemary I can't remember exactly how much I used... I think in a gallon of water 20-50 drops of each....

The bad one was your seed potatoes

Oh. They were from a local well respected organic farm. Didn’t even consider that. I always get my potato seeds from them. I don’t know a lot about blight. My potatoes went in a few weeks so I am keeping an eye on them.

@@FieldOfFocus no a bad seed potato every seed potato looks like that or worse once they made all those others we sometimes don't see them because they're used up but since you pulled them early you got to see what they look like as your potatoes grow. I hope I said that where it makes sense to someone besides me lol good luck with the rest of them

I have been using hydrogen peroxide on my tomatoes for blight. It keeps coming back, but I am keeping the plants alive. Nothing on potatoes so far. Just assume you have blight everywhere. Pick lower branches with blight, dont compost. DO Not give up on plants. Just treat. Some people over react. When you dig potatoes, check for health and if questionable, cook and freeze or can. The slimy potato is the seed potato. You don't seem to know much.
