Thanks for doing this video! So many people ask me about this. I will be sharing your video with them.

That was similar to what I did to my 27 year old SL2 on the lower grill years ago. They had these solid pieces in them and I cut out the middle of I them on both sides and its now like what u see on the Scat pack chargers, with two oval port holes on the bottom , that allows wind to enter the grill like a wind tunnel for improved airflow. And it made the car look meaner in the front to boot, a win win.

I tried it as soon as I came home from work, and it feels a little different than before a little more response on the throttle

Bro what about removing those intake resonators? I have a 19 altima too and I’ve seen people just take them off and cap them. Me personally I’m gonna try it out with some of those 12mm mini filters as replacements see what happens

Nice I removed mine before and done some crazy things to it now where I’ve blocked off some areas of the resonator so it can be a straight shot instead of going through chambers. I have a few videos showing me testing things out

Do you have a list of all the parts you bought? I’d like to check them out.

Ur doing awesome and easy mods that even for that im also might gonna consider. But i already lost some MPGs due to my K&N drop in filter and my performance tires. Also 2day i put in LED brake/rear running lights and looks good

Thanks I was thinking about using a drop in filter for mine but I’m definitely continuing the changes with this… and nice I know you like them

It’s most likely the performance tires as they grip the road better, more friction = less mpgs. If anything the drop in filter tends to help with mpgs as most force hotter air in.

@@woodensauce1063 Correct sir same I was thinking

Filters always help mpg not hurt it unless u installed improperly

Drop in filter, seconday cat and resonater delete, still running stick Mufflers on mine and it made a noticeable difference in power. Imma try this trick in the video next.

Can those two square boxes on your intake track be removed too?

I think you loose power removing that alot of vq35hr guys say it cause a vacuum leak on the car.

It actually doesn’t though with this model the response is better for some reason. A lot has changed with this revamp 2.5L

@@TheRealCountryBoyModz I thought you removed the huge intake resonator that's by the bottom of the wheel well people remove it to make more noise with the intake.

@@abbas674 yeah that…it’s very small on this one and I removed it and it didn’t affect it and I was like wow 😯been riding with it like this for a year and no issues nor gas mileage affected actually
