Good point. I was not even born when this show was on, I have watch the reruns and it still makes me laugh. Definitely Top 5 of all time, maybe even #1
Archie argued that the two dollars spent on the tickets could’ve been better off left in the bank earning interest. What interest? Yes, back in the 1970s banks paid a decent amount of interest. Today? They don’t pay jack squat!
I did notice it too. It is in the part of the picture that would have been over scanned (out of the viewable area) on an period correct CRT TV. They typically had about 5% and sometimes up to 10% of the picture over scanned.
Edith picked it up for Louise Jefferson when she went to the store, but she used her own money and Louise was supposed to pay her back, but Edith had forgotten all about it. Technically. the ticket did belong to Edith, but Edith said she would have never bought the ticket had Louise not asked her too. LOL
1:46, Can we have this show on now in 2023!🤣😂It's gold!😂
With all of the whiny ''You hurt my feelings'' pansies we have now? No way!

Archie: "Edith... What are you doing on that phone?"

Today YOU pay THEM interest...
Edith yelling in Archie's ear "that ticket don't belong to us"... I'm dieing 🤣🤣🤣
Love classic Edith!
I'm sure the ticket belongs to Louise Jefferson. That's why Edith was on the phone with her.
😂🤣😂🤣😂🤣 OMG that was funny. I go collect it if where me. Thank 😊🙏😊 you for sharring‼️
This show is a classic. Hands down!
"The worst person of all, them people will be beating on their tom-toms..." Sorry, but this is classic stuff.
Back when $500 meant something.
So you wouldn’t take $500 today? It means something today too.
@@elementrypenguin3116 this was filmed in 1972. $500 is probably more than Archie made in a month
It still does!!! $500 now that I didn't have a second ago!!!
@@cjgangi0123 About $3800 in today’s money. $500/month would be a bit less than the average wage worker without overtime in 1972.
@@elementrypenguin3116 $500 is meh to me.
Hey that is so funny when Archie is griping about that two dollars sounds like some men.loved that show.❤🎉❤
Perfection
Classic
Michael come on arch two measly dollars did you ever bid on anything Archie yes I bet that my daughter would marry a human being and I lost 😆
Who would have thought at the time Rob Reiner was not acting? All these years later and he is still a big dumb "Poe-lock".
You people are cutting the " shorts " too short ; what happened ....???
$500 50 years ago is about 3K and change in today's $$$
In 1970 = $3,931.82
I jus watched this episode 11/9/23 dam Archie was greedy and I'm glad Edith gave Louise her ticket😂😂 best of all Edith got a gift card for her😂
1:44 Does anyone else see the microphone at the top of the screen?
Happened a lot during the series.

Who did the tickets belong to?
Louise Jefferson
I betrd that my daughter would marry a human being and I lost lol such a burn only a father in law could deliver lol
Edith is very slow at delivering information
Needs to tell a story first.
Who did the ticket belong to? Don't remember seeing this episode.

@@lnicole2504 and I'm sure Louise, being the sweetheart she was, would split the winnings with Edith. and George and Archie would be fighting over it.
@@ronfowlermusic Too bad these clips aren't longer. Best sitcom on TV at the time.
@@ronfowlermusic Yes, but Edith did not want it. LOL
Fernando villalona
By rights Edith owed the tickeys and the money….. BUT Eduths morals kicked in and Louise really iwned the ticjet n money
sew wel ced, Cal.
Both of you have horrible spelling.
They were just too good
Edith and Louise should have split the winnings
Sally Struthers was hilarious and a major piece of ass. She really deserved more of a career after this show.
She was very sexy but obnoxious...always putting Archie n Edith down while they support her n her meathead husband 😂
