Anyone doing this please wear closed toe shoes and long trousers when using the acid!

Sorry, you started working on the back of the mirror, and at the end paint it with gold, why? I thought one step before painting gold was completely done.
How did you paint it completely to gold and then change it to antique?
I have a mirror that I stripped. It has a red back and when I stripped it, it wasn't like yours. I did hear you say something about it being made in China? Mine didn't say that on it. It had American writing on it. Like an American company name. Anyway I wish I could post a picture of what has happened to the mirror and if it's salvageable, fingers crossed. Do you have an email that I can send you a picture?

Wears gloves but doesn’t wear shoes or pants when working with muriatic acid.. 😂

Might be good also to use a floor fan for ventilation even when outside
When using muriatic acid. Please be in an open ventilated area. You can also use 50/50 water and bleach in a spray bottle if you don’t have the acid.
