"Right to shelter law" apparently does not apply to thousands of homeless Veterans and families born in America. This is mostly about attempting to establish a permanent voting majority for Democrats.

I appreciate the sentiment, but as a combat veteran who went through tough times, I can tell you that there are so many programs that any veteran who is living on the streets does so by choice.
Additionally, I'd venture to guess that 99.999999% of those "homeless veteran" signs are stolen valor looking to defraud generous, kind, patriotic, people, such as, seemingly, yourself.
Don't fall for their scams. If they're actually veterans, tell them to go to the VA. When they give you some story about not getting help, they're likely stolen valor and/or lying.
@@Johnny_Cash_Flownot every veteran can get help through the VA, bud. The VA also requires them to have their social security number and a copy of their dd214. Not something every homeless vet has on hand. Some just don't want to be "in the system".
The VA can help, but they won't just give homeless vets money and a place to stay for nothing, the veterans have to get piss tested, and if they fail they won't let them stay in housing.
There's a lot of pitfalls with the VA system.
I'm a combat vet myself, a VSO, and work with homeless vets. It's not all charms and skittles, boot.

You have to be homeless for over a year as a vet in some states before they help. Besides, it’s not nearly enough for the damage inflicted permanently. Yet, these 1llegals get the red carpet treatment, while vets are looked at with suspicion instead of compassion. Vets need help and many feel they don’t deserve it when they do, because they’re good people (most of them). This definitely doesn’t help. There’s not nearly enough resources, yet clearly there are enough for everyone else even literal enemies.

My parents both worked their entire lives to the bone as American citizens for over 60 years. They're both now completely disabled, with one bedridden. The state assistance is 26$ a month for food. Twenty Six Dollars. They'd be in the street or worse if it weren't for me taking on their financial obligations.

I'm a grown ass 39 year old man, who works out and powerlifts all the time and my damn food budget is $300 a month, maybe a little more if I am feeling froggy for a nice steak.

For further calculation; that means every person who enters the country is costing taxpayers $21,504 a year (just in food cost). The center for immigration studies claimed between January 2021 and October 2023 there was 5.9 million increase in US population. So adding that all up we end up at a grand total of $126,873,600,000. (Nearly 127 billion dollars, just in food alone)

In my country it was revealed a single refugee was costing the tax payer something like 90k a year. Over double what they spend on prisoners and pensioners.

No because they are under contract. similar to how uber operates, their drivers are not employees but contractors, therefore uber doesn't have to pay a minimum wage. The government essentially did turn those hotels into section 8 housing. I think the most shocking part of this story is the 5million no bid contract for the restaurant. No only where they chosen without a chance for the free market to find the best price they also make a extra 5 million dollars on top of all the sales they make for the period of that contract. Why couldn't multiple food banks and grocery stores worked together? If that Italian restaurant is what most those people are eating everyday I would imagine the smell of garlic and olive oil would make you start to gag. Of course this whole program is doomed from the start is clearly planned by someone that has never touched a stove in their life. I would be cheaper to buy these people a microwave/air fryer, fridge and some basic food then fucking uber eats everyday. The saddest is part is all these people are completely fucked. They are stuck in a hotel all day with no documents to even work. People will be stuck in limbo for months with no recourse.
What it does is make them guilty of aiding and giving comfort to enemy invaders. This won't end well for them.

NJ will not disclose how many WE have taken under our sanctary state wing, funded by taxpayers. They (our tyrannical gov) are very careful and don’t tell us where they are going either.
However, a town I spent much of my life living in is now 8/10 non-English as a primary language. There’s a large line outside of the local food pantry. Teachers struggle with how to best communicate with the kids, especially since many parents don’t speak English at all.
We also take in hordes of refugees from all parts of the world. BUT NO ONE IS “ALLOWED” TO TALK ABOUT IT, NOR HOW MUCH IT’S COSTING US. It’s not mean, bad or otherwise to discuss thesse things.
