The 'Focus' button can be used to slow the time of your enemies when the 'blue circular icon' appears at the lower left of Senua. If you evade at the right time, the icon will appear and the voices will say something. See 1:01. There may be other conditions that may trigger it like at 2:00 and 8:09. Experiment and keep an eye out. And thank you for the tutorials. The combat is deceptively deep. I've only beaten Surt(as of this comment) so I look forward to using these 'hidden' tools.
Man, thank you for this. Really good. At first combat seemed dull and hard because I just didn't know how it worked. Now I think it's incredibly good and rewarding. Ninja Theory did a great job with this.
Thank you soooo much. A joy to watch and I'll be returning ... and the game, ohhhh the game, is such an emotional rollercoaster. This is us actually having... nice things.
You made a science out of all these attacks and without a doubt you were experimenting with your actions and applying trial and error to fine tune it into this video. I imagine to gain all this info with different enemies you disregarded the arm rot and focused on what could and couldn’t be done. 👏🏼👍🏻💪🏼
Had no idea you could change targets without being attacked until this video. Did two whole play throughs thinking the only way I could switch targets was to have them swing at me. Probably the most important think I learned by watching this. I am guessing that tip was probably in part 1.
Great tutorial. Had no idea about the charged sword dodge. After you break the opponents guard and they flash orange are there any special attacks you can use?
I don't think there is a special action after breaking the guard of an enemy (at least I tried several things but it never resulted in a new action, if there is one I don't know it anyway) ^^ About the orange flash (for me) it's just a visual indicator telling us that we broke the guard of the opponent.
No this is not available at the beginning of the game. The button is Y (Xbox) or Triangle (Playstation) = Heavy Attack button It will be necessary to remain pressed on the button so that Senua goes in position

Another thing I found useful with large groups was to keep them lined up in a row.

You put alot of effort into this. I hope when 2 comes out you enjoy it enough to make similar content.
Thank you for dude, this is by far the most engaging video on this game's combat.

Nice! Thanks for the tips!
In the end, Senua is pretty damn bad-ass!

Arm rot is a meaningless gimmick

Damn good
Another great video, so much is well made in it. But proof-read the text next time, it's littered with flaws.
