Seen a couple of these videos with Russ and hecklers and i have come to the conclusion that either they are paid stooges or he is very good. Either they are worth watching and thank you Russ for posting.
I could watch this all night. I love how you're not thrown off by this, rather it becomes the set. That guy was the perfect shouter though, because he wasn't talking over you so you were able to do your job. It's a real drag when a comedian has to deal with a drunk that keeps shouting over the comic so loud the sounds get mixed and neither is understood. Hopefully most drunks can wait their turn...
Agreed, I imagine smaller rooms get that a lot. But I guess it's not the first thought in my mind that the heckler would not have seen other comedy shows and gotten the point that you don't shout. At least he was willing to take his medicine like a man.
