oh lol.
share in comments musicians from your country (or dm me on insta ;)
Here in Croatia we have musicians like Jelena Rozga or Severina who sing pop or pop-folk and it's hard for me to find a person that has the same taste in music as I do because the music I like isn't popular here 😔
Great! I will check them out! Maybe I will even understand a word or two :)
Oh my god I love your channel, sometimes it is difficult for me to understand you because I don't speak english but I think your content is really cool👍🏼🌟👍🏼
You should listen to Los Prisioneros, they are a band from my country, Chile🇨🇱🇨🇱👋❤
it's okay, I think it's also on my pronunciation XD thanks!
Omg this is amazing it’s so interesting, I really like to listen to bands from other countries; amazing content
thanks al ot! i'm so glad you enjoyed it!
Hi! I am from Poland and my favourite Polish artist is Czesław Niemen. "Jednego serca", "Nie jesteś moja" and his other songs are just epic ❤️
thanks!
This was a very interesting video. Unfortunately I'm a bit ignorant when it comes to my country's music (I live in Italy and have Lebanese origins), as I listen mostly to English songs and bands, so I don't know exactly what to recommend.
There's a Lebanese singer I love called Fairuz (her voice is truly something special), she's well renowned in the whole Arabic world, though she has a very traditional type of sound, so I don't know if it can be accessible for you.
I also know lots of Italian acts but haven't dug deep into their music, however not long ago I discovered an awesome band called Casino Royale, they cross a lot of genres with their music, including ska, trip-hop, reggae and alternative rock. If you are into bands like Massive Attack (which is an English band who were around the same time as britpop groups, but made a different kind of music, more towards electronic) you will surely love them.
Anywyay, I love your idea and I really think we should open ourselves more to non-English music, there's a lot of great stuff out there!
I'm really glad that everyone enjoys this little project I started, as there are so many voices that are ignored due to the language barrier, but I think music is Universal language!
Thanks a lot, I will dig some info :)
@@dropthatbrit It really is! I made one Italian friend listen to a song by Fairuz, called "Li Beirut". He didn't know what it meant but said that he really felt moved by the song
@@dropthatbrit oh and by the way, your language sounds beautiful!
Thanks for this video ❤️ I really love Ukrainian music. And Ukrainian language. And our culture in general. I had to move to Russia six years ago, so I miss Ukraine vEeEery much!
Thanks for watching! Glad you could enjoy it :) Come back, when the lockdown is over and it's safe
This is so cool because I can tell what genre most of these musicians are but they’re also very different to American and British bands that I’m most familiar with. It’s awesome seeing different interpretations of music around the world and discovering foreign music. Great video 💕💕
Thanks! I'm glad you enjoyed it!
im literally so happy u made this thank uuu
I'm glad you're happy :)
I'm from Germany and absolutely love Okean Elzy! Even considering to learn some Ukrianian to understand their lyrics more. Lots of love to UA!
Danke! :) Lots of love from ukraine to one of my favourite countires :)
Hey! This was a very interesting video! As i kept on listening, i kept finding similarities between ukrainian post-soviet union scene and my own country's music (Estonia). I don't listen to local artists a lot, but i'll leave you with some songs i've liked- "Soorebased" by Vaiko Eplik is a nice folk-y guitar track i enjoy. He also did this amazing song called "Sylvester otsustab surra" but that one seems to have disappeared from youtube. "Saatus naerdes homse toob" by Lenna Kuurma was used (written for?) in the soundtrack of a local movie called "Kuhu põgenevad hinged," which is where i found this song from. Both make me feel very nostalgic for my childhood :')
Oh, thanks! I think the only Estonian artist I was aware of is Tommy Cash, but he performs in English
That's a great content! Hope you'll make more stuff like that. Kind of crazy that we basically listen only to our local music and to the music from english speaking countries but have no idea about things created by our neighbours, right? I feel quite proud that I knew one of The songs you mentioned (Bez boju) although just because some polish band made a cover of it hahah
Thank you! I will! That's true, British and American scene dominates so much, we don't even listen to our local fellas sometimes :) I will try to do more videos like these, on other countries as well :)
Yeah, that song is kind of band's anthem, no surprise our Polish fellas made a cover :)
Я тебя обожаю, я с Казахстана
Там ещё не была, но встречала людей - все были очень милы и приветливы :)
Про Скрябіна добре сказано в відео.
Where? Are D.R.
Other than Oasis (of course) I like The Jam, you should check them out if you’ve not heard of them.
I do know them :)
archive of the best cringe material anddddddd? What do you think of them?

archive of the best cringe material my favourite song is “mr clean” you should listen to it 😁

@@miraclealigner5556 I've been to Kraków and Sanok, and I've also visited a village Mokre (I think it was the name xd)
@@dropthatbrit ohh!! i live not far from Kraków! :)) i hope you enjoyed time in my country ;d
