One thing I've always wondered about is what other monster trucks were involved in the event the night the footage was filmed? They say it's the quarter finals, so there had to be at least 4 other trucks there that made the competition, and probably another 4/6 that didn't make it through qualifying.
thepatgomes1 Interesting. I also own the original VHS, had it since I was a kid, but it has a different soundtrack. I guess the produced two different versions?
why is that I can't remember what happened yesterday but i probably haven't seen this since 89-90 when I was like 8 years old and I remember every word?..wish it had the original music but with youtube copyright claims and all that, i get it.
had this on VHS my entire life and 1989 is not the correct year for this. not finding fault at all but knowing this video as well as i do and looking at the trucks featured this is definitely at most 1985! Again not bashing it at all just trying to help bud! :)
Hey! you all may just be bale to help me, I have an old video from my childhood, the face says "Hot Rods & Funny Cars A Tara Toys Video" I remember it being a set I had with another on trucks and it was part of a series on everything from drag racing to Dakar trucks to rock crawling but seeing as I cant actually view the tape at the moment I cant remember the name of the video series it is. Any help would be great, I want to make a collection out of it.

All that chrome and metal flake and it looked good. Man... that character back then in the auto scene.
I'm enamored with the 1982ness of this 1989 documentary.

When my pa brought me ta this he said weed see a big car run over a small car and ILL be if that isnt exactly what happened. Yeah
The footage is all over the place, it's a great capture, but the show itself has a shitty structure with too much music.
Some of the 80s music was the absolute worst.
