What would you call a SBP 164-189 and DBP 80-95 Blood Pressure as I suffer it and my brother too has the same issue ok
High blood pressure or hypertension is based on at least two separate readings. Your values would be categorized as stage 2 hypertension. It is really important you talk to your primary care doctor/family doctor about how to control your blood pressure.

Two office visits
Or one office + home
Or one office + ambulatory ?
Traditionally, two office visits is the standard but really important to have home measurements to exclude white coat hypertension. Home data can take the place of an office visit if similar to office results. Remember those with white coat hypertension are more likely to develop true high blood pressure in the future.
