(not far into vid, idk if this was discussed) tbh i think wuwa is super future proof because i think its very powercreep proof. the combat is just SO COMPLEX, theres so much you can do.
@@nevermore6540 i agree but i think in wuwas case its diff bc theres so many things characters can excel at so no one is gonna excel in the same thing yk? it makes sense in my head i cant rlly explain sorry 😭
Tbh I don't think they'll do much wih elements if we compare it to PGR, where it was mostly a way for players to have multiple teams and making it so each release doesn't invalidate the previous one, except PGR focuses on Mono-elements while Wuwa allows for varied teams and even slightly mono with buffers like Yinlin, Calcharo and so on. **Spoilers** In terms of story, it's good to see that 1.1 was a improvement, it's still not the best, but to me it felt like we finally got a direction for the story with the 2nd Resonance Awakening, as we might start seeing the equivalent of Archons in Wuwa and our future meeting with them and their Sentinels, we could say that Jinhsi is pretty much one at this point, which is, imo, somethign we needed as the Threnodians didn't feel huge enough to carry said direction, so I'm hopeful for the future, specially with The Black Shores and New federation in the horizon. **End of spoilers**
Spoilers: I watched some UA-cam Videos from Ryuuku Sensei and he also believes that thing with 2nd awakening, basically saying Changli already absorbed the powers of that south phenix and predicted it will happen to jinhsi in the story, which happened. Sadly im not at all into asian culture/lore but there seems to be some things connected, like different mythical creatures… just check his YT channel at this point because ive got no clue 😂
I could've sworn during the last chapter when they were going over the battle plan, Jiyan literally tells you the entire thing before you had to make choices lol. I was deeply confused cause I thought, didn't you just tell us the plan Jiyan? It couldn't have been just me who answered everything correctly right away, unless some people skipped.
This might be a hot take but if I can get rid of one system in this game, it’s be the echo cost. It’s frustrating when you don’t want to get rid of an echo but are kind of forced to anyway or mess with your already equipped echos just to fit the new one in.
@@andersongomes3211 idk if it’s a good idea to ask me that lol. I think it’s got its problems but it’s not too demanding since you can clear all main content with average stats. And I like that we can equip anything we want freely at any time. Honestly, I’ve not thought about it too much beyond this stuff but in general I’m fine with it - though I understand not everyone feels this way and it’s fine.
I thought I have escaped the artifact grind, but echos is almost the same thing, and I hate it, though I think it is slightly less worse than artifacts, I'm so fucking tired of so many rng in gear system, but I dont really want to quit yet since I like the combat and can be casually played
@@KyouXin same. It can take ages to get the echo you want and there’s no system in place to say ‘hold up stop and try again later’ which I don’t mind but oh boy it can get so tiring
@@otakuwhat_ yeah, my exhaustion from the artifact grind just transferred over to echo farming, hopefully it is better in higher UL or maybe they give us tuner changer we somewhat grind for. Gachas game are getting better but its nature often times present this kind of things
I def reduced my playtime alot. I am just logging in for dailies and dumping waveplates. I will probably never again engage in the daily echo grind as it feels extremely frustrating with the rng I had so far. I stand by my opinion, that I can't see how people think the echo system is better than any other gacha's system, as in WuWa the time investment is so much higher with the same result. With the other games I can just dump my stamina in a few minutes, sort out rolls and move on, but here the frustration is extreme with the bad rates after you invested anywhere from 1-3hrs (I spent ~6 hrs a day the first two weeks...) farming trash mobs in the world just to see them evaporate at the same rate as the other games. 1.1 story and exploration are the same level as 1.0, no improvement so far at all in my opinion. One big personal gripe is also how they did not keep their promises with optimizing the game and controls. For some reason the camera, lock on and forced auto aim is even worse than in 1.0 and mobile players even have literally gamebreaking camera problems for a full week now. On PC I finally gave up on playing with a controller as it is an absolute mess.
If you want to “dump waveplates and move on” then you can just spam tacet fields. Way better odds for elemental damage on 3 cost echos from my experience. Not having to consume stamina for “relics” is a great mechanic. Being shafted by rng is practically universal. You can grind it out on wuwa, whereas on hsr, I have to dump stamina for months to get even a single good piece. Not to mention they even give you malleable echos for some events.
This dude never heard of epic seven when talking about gear rng, that game requires 4 months at least to build at least one good character, it's even worse cause you need at least 4 teams just to grind any gear that you want
@@gaphs879 Nah, I mean this is where people misunderstand it: You think it's a great system with having no stamina cost on echoes, but in reality you do, because to level up and unveil the stats you DO need stamina. It's essentially the same end result, except I have to spend an ungodly amount of time grinding (which is also boring af) in WuWa, because the grind is split into two parts (for no reason). IF there was more control over the rolls, yes, I can see having such a massive grind behind it worth it, but the substat roll rates are absolutely horrible, especially because the ranges on the rolls themselves are gigantic. For example in Genshin I "just" need CD+CR and the roll range is mostly negligible, whereas in WuWa CD+CR is the base requirement to have a usable echo, but the highest possible roll is SO MUCH higher (and extremely rare). And yea ofc, tacet fields become your dump, but I am at UL51 now and with every SOL3 level you have to spend significant amounts of waveplates to ascend, level and talent your characters again and UL50 world level is actually a significant jump in enemy strength. And yea, not to be misunderstood. Of course these gacha games heavily rely on rng progression mechanics. I wouldn't be playing them if I wasn't aware of that, but the time investment for the same frustrating end result is so much higher in WuWa for no reason at all. I can live with any amount of bad rng over months if it respects my daily playtime, but if you implement hour long daily grinds into your game, your rates for upgrades have to show for it or you need to implement some sort of secondary deterministic way to achieve results.
You complain about the echo but genshits artifact grind is so much worse than wuwa, yet you have the gall to complain when kuro gave us a better system than every other gacha games.

Why it is powercreep proof? I really think powercreep is just inevitable in every single gacha game that exists.

1. TDeez Nuts
2. Malenia Blade of Miquella
Thank you for the laugh! Cheers!

14:10 they should just remove the dialogue choice in this part of the story and let the MC just talk like a cutscene.
